I think I have my better half talked into stepping up her game after 3 years of vaping. She has always used Ego's and Ego twist because she like the small things in life (thank god). :D

I have 2 Provari's (full size and a mini) And I was just about to order another blem unit for her to save some bucks but then I started thinking about all the latest and greatest toys out there.
So my question is, mainly for folks that have used Provari's and know the quality of them, what other VV or VW tube style mods are out there that can literally be tossed on to concrete slabs numerous times and still work with only cosmetic damage? (Don't ask how I know this about Provari's)

Are there any other good solid VV or VW mods out there that could save me some $$$ and still take a lickin and keep on tickin or should I just spend the $140 for a new/blem Provari mini?

I vote for ProVari. I have 2, one full-size, one mini. I have mechs and my husband has an MVP I can use, too. I like my ProVaris the best and they get the most use. I tried an Evic once, and it was flimsy. Never had the other VV mods because they convinced me early on to just get the ProVari. They were correct.

Without going to a mech mod, I think you'd be hard-pressed to beat the construction and durability of a ProVari. Mine's been dropped, kicked around, totally drenched in water, etc., and hasn't let out a whimper yet.

To the OP, just get a Provari (I had to say it).

To the rest of you; what is with you people, throwing your Provaris around, taking them for swims, hammering nails with them, etc..? I mean, I always recommend them, but not if it means you won't be able to afford toys, flotation devices or tools.

Priorities, people :D

rounding third and heading home...
fazedboxmods ego budget(you can get it with a 510 top) $140 delivered. the lightest, toughest mod I have ever comfortably held. dna20 chip for the easiest mod around- no menu to scroll through or remember. put on your device and vape. 2 18650 batteries to last much longer than any 18350. don't have to buy extensions or different end caps. but forget it, go buy a heavy tube mod...baa, baa.

Looks super cool, but it made out of plastic...

Alrighty then. Another Provari it is. ;) I was thinking about getting her a purple one but I think I would feel a little uncomfortable crusing down the highway on my Harley holding a purple mod. :D
Oh... wait, this was for the wife wasn't it? damn... :glare:

Peter - I did check out that FZ20D eGo budget mod. (never seen a $130 Ego before ) That's a pretty cool monstser mod and the bat life would be nice being that I drain my 18350's every 2 hours but.... I can't stand Box mods. They do make good wheel chocks though. :D

Thanks for the replies folks. :toast:

so are football helmets- its a lot tougher than you think. damaged a solid ss mod before I could hurt this one.....

It's extremely similar to one of Mamu's Denali mods (almost an exact copy, in fact). Yes, it's fairly strong plastic. But no, it's not as strong as a Provari. Great mod though, for sure.

what exactly are you doing with provaris? I drop it on concrete it survives. I bang it , shake it , it survives . so what exactly are you doing to, a provari that you need to emphasis its construction? I have the usual accidents with all my mods and have never had one fall apart or break. my sigelei telescope v3 flattop is stainless steel and very solid-never had a problem, ever. what torture test should I put it(or any other mod) through to satisfy a provari owner it is durable and capable of providing a great vape?

I just vape on mine.

And I didn't draw the comparison, you actually initiated it. To be clear, the Denali was just about the nicest mod I've ever owned. I absolutely LOVED it. But I ended up selling it because, well, I break stuff. Most everything, actually. And I thought that the Denali deserved better than the likes of me. So I sold it for much less than I purchased it for, and it went to someone who will surely take better care of it than I ever could.

Now Mamu's Max, on the other hand, well - that's a WHOLE other story. It will NEVER be sold.
