The Provari/Vamo fight (or should that be Vamo/Provari) is getting a bit old. I'm a Vamo fan, but I'm sure that the Provari must be a top device. All users say that it's really well made and a delight to use. Good. What matters is whether it works for you. Price shouldn't really be a consideration. The joy of using your pv is what matters. :)

You can buy five Vamos for the price of a Provari. 35.00 vs 180.00. For 35.00 you get VW/VV 18650 mode or 18350 and an easier menu to navigate.:)

Looks like you're outnumbered Tex. :) I have most of the latest 4amp mods and my Vamo ranks with the best but I particularly like the ease of use with the three button menu. Provari is a fine mod but the single button menu turns me off, particularly in it's price range.

And FWIW I've never had a moments problem with my $38 mod in 5 months, but then I've had no problems with any of my VV devices.

That is always the case when you compare the Provari with anything. I personaly prefer my Groove to both of them.:)

I was looking at those Grooves. I like the blue one. If that color was available when the had that pre sale, I'd have probably pulled the trigger. I'm glad to see they're more than just good looking.

I would rather have 1 Provari than 5 Vamos ;)

I'm just having a bit of fun :) I usually stay away from this vs that threads but I couldn't resist LOL. Seriously, the vamo seems like it would be a nice device. I have a cheap madvapes vv box mod and love it to bits. I try never to put someone else's device down.. as long as they are satisfied, that's all that matters.

I had myself a vamo, it is a good solid starting device. Had it all twinked out with snake skin and loved it and dropped it and dropped it again.

Got a Provari, super solid device. Always hits even and true and yes I have dropped it too. I must admit nothing comes close to the Provari, I have tried quite a few. I am playing with the Innokin iTaste SVD and I LOVE the options but I am not getting the same consistent hits I do with the Provari.

I keep questing for the perfect device and though it is shallow, the menu on the Provari drives me batty. But when it comes to quality and constancy it wins hands downs.

That is my experience.

Coincidentally I just bought one. Had a store credit for month for a returned lavatube and started being concerned they would go out of business before they stocked something I wanted so I applied it toward Groove.

Will be curious what amps it will put out with a single 3.7v battery. Realize they advertise 5amp but none of the other mods advertised at 4/5amp put out much over 3amp when using a single 3.7v 18650 battery. Need two 18350 batteries to get close to the advertised amps.
