from what i can see the mini only uses one battery but yet on uk e-cigs they state it has adjustable voltage upto 6v

The Provari and Mini Provari have the same microprocessor with a boost circuit. The only difference between the two are the batteries that they use and length of each device.

Both Provari's have the patented AccuSet™ technology - a built-in dynamic self-calibration algorithm that keeps the output voltage accurate to 1% or better over the life of the product. The ProVari's will constantly monitor and adjust themselves to ensure you always get accurate voltage settings. Every device will autotune itself so it's always precise.

What that means is whatever voltage that you set the Provari for, it will output that voltage precisely for the entire life of the battery until it is drained. No drop off in voltage as the battery drains means the vapor, flavor, and throat hit will remain constant. What you set, you get. This patented technology is one of the things that sets the Provari apart from its competition.
