I have read that the extended caps work on eather,but i have a cap from my V1 silver that will not go on my mini silver nore will the standard cap from my v1.With that said i can use my caps standard and extended form my black satin V2 on my silver mini with no issues. Might be a slight difference in the threads from v1 to v2 ?

v1 and v3 are the same thing. V2 just has a higher amp limit but everything is exactly the same including circuitry. Any cap whether regular or extended will fit on any provari including the mini .They only made one extension cap that fits on anything that says Provari.No difference in threads or anything. Your extended cap does fit for sure. Maybe you cross threaded one by accident

OK i only getting 2.5 hours outside of mine

same here (and with single coil, 2.2 ohm cartos). I only manage to get 5, sometimes maybe 6, hours out of the 18490 1100mAh.

to put things in context though an AW 18650 1600mAh (on the V2) only lasts 8-9h with my vaping pace, while many people seem to squeeze well over 12h of vaping out of it. go figure...

Go for a 3.0ohm single coil @ 4.8 volts and you should get much better battery run times. Low res coils on a ProVari = fail. One should only be using AW IMR High Drain batteries in a ProVari as well. Failure to do so results in pointless frustration.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try using higher resistance cartos.

To tell the truth it's not clear to me why 3ohm at 4.8V (7.7W) should last any longer than 2.2ohm at 4.0V (7.3W)... I always thought the provari's PWM should be more efficient when closer to the nominal battery voltage - let's say in the 3.7-4.0V range.

but I'll try that out anyway

hi, same here, nothing to be worried about.

you probably just need to clean up a bit the top battery contact (the one inside the tube, where the positive battery pole goes), and perhaps to stretch a little bit the spring in the bottom cap.

in my provaris (mini + V2) I need to clean the top battery contact with a q-tip and some (isopropyl) alchool, every 10 days/two weeks on average, otherwise I get that exact symptom (or sometimes the button blinking once when I suddenly move the provari)

for some reason (possibly arching from the battery) that contact appears to need some more frequent cleaning that one would expect, but luckily it's a quick and easy thing to do.

just make sure to use very pure alchool (more than 95%), or even better isopropyl. no water allowed there

i own a satin silver mini and ive heard that the laser logo easily fades. im planning to put scotch tape or magic tape on it (to preserve). any chance the laser etched print might stick to the sticker when peeled if the sticker stayed too long?

well, it's showing there with the extension cap attached (its longer configuration) and a good-sized tank atomizer...

besides, that baby can be regarded as 'mini' when compared to its longer sibling, the provari v2, but it's quite big for normal e-cigs standards
