Please provide your comparison of them? Did you use the standard size for out-and-about? Are more likely to use the Mini for this purpose?

well i just got it, so i can't really tell you in depth yet, as for looks, the mini is about an inch shorter when using the same endcap, the mini is only a topcap shorter though when the mini is using an xcap and the V2 is using the standard cap.

as for aesthetics....i MUCH prefer the teardrop pitted look of the mini....since seeing it up close and putting a hand on it, i can tell you that it is absolutely gorgeous, but that is not taking anything away from the clean lines in the V2....both of them are gorgeous.

functionally, they are equal...they have the same guts, so it's expected....i'm thinking i'll probably still carry the V2 to work with me so that i have all day with the big 18650 battery....but i do intend to bring the mini tomorrow and check out the battery life of the 18350s.

I really wanted a Mini for my out-and-about vaping. I generally bring the Provari v2, but I think that I would really prefer a small V V device for this. Occassionally I'll grab my backup BB for a quick run to the convenience store or grocery shopping. I always think wouldn't a VV APV of this size be perfect?

I looked into the eGo VV 14500 (way too long) and the L Rider Robust (poor reviews and battery life). I decided to go with a Smoktech VV Gripper. For $50 it does pretty much what I wanted it to do. The fact that it uses an 18650 battery like my extended Provari is a plus. It does hit almost a whole volt hotter than what I set it for, but I knew that before I got it from PBusardo's review, and I adjust accordingly.

I plan to treat myself with a Mini for my 1 year smoke free anniversary. I couldn't justify the $175 + batteries at this time.

I came from a lavatube, it was an entry level VV mod and helped me get my foot in the door, I needed something more ideal. I did a TON of research before I bought it, and quite honestly I am in love with this mod. Everyone talks about how solid, well constructed and how buttery smooth the threads are. Videos do not do it justice, once I finally held it I knew what everyone was talking about. It is an incredible device and has been performing like a work horse, I cant say anything bad about it!

If you can afford it, yes. It is entirely worth it. You'd be hardpressed to find a more consistant, versatile, durable, and dependable APV. And the USA company that manufactures it is outstanding. They will continue to service the Provari for a reasonable fee even after warranty.

I promise you - you will not be disappointed. I have not put mine down since I got it in March. If you can swing it, get the extension cap and 18490's too. I have barely looked at my other devices since I got mine.

I am in the same boat, I got the extension cap with it and its nice to be able to switch out to a bigger battery if your going to be out for a while, then having the ability to switch it back to the smaller mod
