I am not currently using ProVari but have in the past -it is an outstanding PV. Not at all surprised to hear that you're enjoying it. My recommendation for batteries is to get AW brand batteries. They are rated pretty well and are at a decent price point. There are several vendors on ECF that sell them. I use Super T Manufacturing.

Re: Atty/tank for ProVari there are too many to mention. It really depends on what you think would look nice and what you want it to do for you. There are mesh/genesis style rebuildables, silica rebuildables, carto tanks, attys, cartos etc. etc. If simplicity is important to you, a nice carto tank will suffice. You can buy different attys that will last longer or may offer better taste. If you like to rebuild something and tinker look at the rebuildable options.

Wishing you continued success w/ your new ProVari! Hope that you find it's perfect mate. Have fun w/ your search. :vapor:

First, congrats for switching to an e-cig.

I did not start with a ProVari, but it did not take me long to get one. However, in a way I'm happy that I took that route because I can better understand what a solid and quality PV it is. And also, I've got a couple of cheap backups if I should ever need them.

I'm also using AW batteries. Got my first two from ProVape with my initial order and then picked up a couple of others at a better price as a filler item when I placed an order for something else.

There's too many other things out there for me to recommend one to you, since what I like and usually use fits my needs and wants which may be different from yours. I'd suggest that you just browse through the forums and if something sounds interesting to you, then ask questions in the specific threads and decide if it's worth trying. I've used the Vivi Novas and I like them, but I've moved on to something that I like better. However, they are included in some starter kits that I'm giving out for Christmas presents along with some Kanger T3s and eGo Twist batteries.

Picking out a ProVari for a PV was the easy part for me. Finding the delivery system was the hard part.

Good luck!

THIS!! I'm still playing! I like the carto tanks best so far, didn't like the Vivi Nova's, I've got some RBA's coming to play with, it goes on!
Provape designed these around the AW IMR batteries and they don't recommend using them with anything but IMR batteries. Problem is, which one's fit it and which ones don't? Some of the Eftest work, some don't, some of the EH's work some don't! I was going to get some EH's, but after pricing them out, and being uncertain, why? I'll spend a bit more and get the better battery, then I don't have to worry about it. That's my opinion.
Have a look at the Provari pics thread, lots of beautiful set ups in there! I have to stay away because I turn into a 13yo girl with a case of the "gimee's" every time I look in there! I'm 44 and a man BTW!

I use both panasonics and AW labeled batteries and see no difference in performance when used on the Provari with the exception of a little longer time between charges with the Pannys.

Depending on your willingness to build things, you could be interested in rebuildable atomizers, including genesis style atomizers. Next on my radar personally is the GP Spheroid V2.

The Vivi Nova is liked by many. Is there anything about using it that you feel is lacking? Knowing that info, along with your "fiddablity" (I just coined that word :) ) would go a long way toward making suggestions for juice delivery alternatives.

Consider also, you are at the beginning of your vaping journey and have opted for a top notch pv. There is possibly a feeling of "wow this is great, there must be better". There may be better, and there may just be different. I would really suggest enjoying your Vivi Novas for awhile. Learn how they work, how to clean, maintain and rebuild them. Living with something for awhile allows you to both enjoy it and give you a point of reference based on your perceived short comings of the device. That experience will increase the chances of your next juice delivery choice enhancing your experience as opposed to just being a lateral move.

Yep. For me, I like cartomizers for the taste and vapor production without having to mess with dripping (tried it, don't like having to drip every three or four puffs). I like large tanks for the ease of not having to refill much AT ALL and the look on the Provari. Clearomizers i am just starting to try out, ok, not as much flavor muting as my tanks and better vapor production as well but still preferring a good, well-filled carto for these qualities, SO FAR at least (first clearomizer out of a pack of five being used today actually). Clearos to me, are like a smaller cheaper tank, holds more than a carto I think, and look kind of cool.

I suggest trying everything you can get your hands on and can afford as ymmv and what works for me you may not like at all. Just like juices and flavors. Taste is subjective, even for setups IMHO.

I also would recommend trying different juice carrying devices. Everyone seems to like something different and like juice flavors, the choice is highly subjective to individual's preferences.

I never cared for direct dripping on an atty. To messy and time consuming.

Not a big fan of the vivi nova type clearo tanks; easy to fill, but some flavors are muted in these from my experience.

I've become a big fan of single coil cartos in pyrex tanks. I have a review of one pyrex tank manufacturer in my blog entries under my avatar. I also have an article of single vs dual cartos, and a list of online vendors that sell pre-punched cartomizers for tanks.

Just some of my favorite Provari accessories, first pic is with a drip shield (purely aesthetic reason for it, but look SO nice with my preferred delivery: carto). Second with my MAP tank (yes I know, in bad need of a top-off). Last with my new carto and some Wisemen or something in the background. Note: little 7 lb 3 oz baby Jesus is just out of view in a manger somewhere.

That drip tip on the clearomizer sucks though, very loose draw like it has a leak or something, my most recent and ill- advised purchase.

To the OP better check your warrenty. Provape will only honer it if you use the battery that they suggest. I checked with them and If you use anything other that an AW IMR and something goes wrong then it's on you. just FYI, as for delivery systems I'm with Batitude on the carto/tanks. But to each their own. I've got 10 nova's and like em all a lot. Just prefer my carto/tanks. And like you said. Enjoy the new journey. :toast:
