It's definitely a setup to be envied, nice choice! On the MAP, you can't go wrong with either one, but I'd give a slight nudge to the 3 ohm on any variable voltage mod. Good luck with the GF, I lucked out and my wife vapes as well, so she understands the obsession! Of course, that means she has some of her own and it costs us twice as much!

That's a 2.8ohm tank. I'm going to jump to 3.0ohm when this ce2 burns out.

The drip tip is from Artic Vapor. It's their type 2 tappered.

It appears that if you jump higher than the 2.8, you have to go directly to a 3.2 with the 510 connection on the provari... I could be completely wrong on this but it looks like the 3.0 is for an 808 only.

Regarding the claimed resistance window of CE2s:
2 words: Think higher.

Even right outta the box these things are rarely in the claimed range when tested.
Not only that but nearly ALL of my 2.4-2.8 ohm models (bought for my eGo T) check to 3.0+ after a few uses anyway.
Resistance is not a fixed thing. It increases with use.

You're correct according to the COV site, Bruce has them marked with one specific ohm rating... but like hellcatrydr says, they will likely be off a tenth or two out of the box. Some vendors even mark them with a range (2.6-2.8 ohm, etc). I'm using one now that started life at 2.5 but is now up to 2.7 after a week. Good thing is, you don't have to go by the box, just trust your taste buds... the ProVari will make up any difference in ohm rating.

My 2.8s are running closer to 3.2-3.3 after "break in". They are absolute monsters in a Map on the Pro Vari @ 4.6-5 v.

BTW, I have the Fluxomizer brand... Don't know if they are same as others.
