Provari Problem with Ejuice Taste... Please Help

Finally got my Provari in the mail. Using it with a 510-T atomizer for dripping. Bought this set up to compliment my Ego-T & Ego-C. Thought the Provari would be great for trying new favors without having to fill tank and to experiment with new voltages. Been a vaping since new years to get off of analogs.

Problem is juices don't taste the same. For example, my favorite juice, Boda's Bounty has little to no flavor, lots of vapor, & increased throught hit (too much). When I go to the lowest voltage, things get a little better but not by much. My ego set ups do much better. What am I doing wrong? Is it the atomizer? I made sure to clean it out in between flavors & drip at least 3 drops.. I think there is even is a strange spongy/soapy undertone. Should I remove the atomizer's spike? Try a different atomizer? Any advice & recommendation is very much appreciated.

That is an odd situation. The eGo's should be outputting 3.4 volts and the ProVari can do the same. The only difference I can think of is that the ProVari can output more current, when using the correct battery, but that would only become an issue if you are using low resistance atomizers. (Which I did not see mentioned in the OP.) If the atomizers are low resistance, then the eGo would actually have a lower loaded voltage and it could be difficult to set the ProVari low enough to match the actual power output.

Before I started using variable voltage mods, I used low resistance atomizers/cartomizers to get the power high enough to get close to my vaping style. That became impractical with variable voltage. Going to higher resistances, actually closer to standard resistance, and higher voltage works much better for me.

If you have low resistance atomizers, then switching to standard would probably help.

If you have standard resistance atomizers, and you want to experiment with dripping, then a 306 atomizer & drip tip, an I06 atomizer & drip tip, or good quality 510 atomizer & drip tip in the 2.5 to 3.0 Ohm range may be helpful.
