I've had my ProVari for well over a year and it's been a great mod, but lately it's been acting up.

Sometimes it won't fire the atty despite having a fresh battery and a good atty screwed in. Sometimes when I scroll through the menu and stop on a feature (I stop scrolling on "CB" for example) instead of telling me the battery voltage the screen just shuts down. Other times the unit functions just like it should. Other times the button flashes eraticly for no apparent reason and won't do anything. It isn't showing any error codes, but there's obviosly something wrong with the unit.

I've tried all the common cures for an ecig. I've used different batteries. Different atties. Adjusted the voltage down (when it lets me). I've looked inside the unit and there doesn't appear to be any juice, foriegn objects, broken pieces, etc inside..... I know that ProVape could fix it if I sent it in, but I'm really short on cash right now.

Anything I could do? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

ProVape does have a video on their site that shows cleaning the positive connections, both inside and out. Corrosion e and juice tend to build up and interrupts electrical connection.

It's as simple as scrape and use rubbing alcohol. Do this routinely and you are good to go.

Here is a video http://youtu.be/56awzhAsl4c
