provari started working again a while about a month ago

provari has been working for about a month straight with no issues. a while ago i complained on here that it was burning up atties really bad. i stopped using it for several months and was using cheap ego batteries for a while. i decided one day to give it a shot again. i figured i would risk an atty. behold, it didnt burn up any atties and has been a solid performer once again. dont know why i had issues with it either. could it be that it corrected itself by simply sitting on the shelf or did i have several bad atties in a row and i was just blaming the provari? i dont know. now that this thing works again, i wonder how long i can expect it to last. what is the life expectency out of a provari or will this thing simply last for many, many years?

i also now have a lavatube as a backup VV now, but it pretty much sits on the shelf simply because i like the provari better.

keep your attys wet and test them often to make sure their resistance matches up to the voltage you're running them at. The provari is just basically a battery.. a power source.. if you run the voltage too high it will burn it for sure. If you have any doubt to it's performance, contact provape. There's no need for something that expensive to sit there when it can be repaired for free.. if it's still under warranty.

An ego gives off around 3.2v.. if you turn your provari down to that voltage, it will give the same vape as an ego.

Who knows what really happened and if it will happen again. Seems more likely you had several bad attys. Any rate, Provari's have a lifetime warranty, so no worries.

lifetime? i was under the impression that it was one year. anyways i am happy with it now. im also no longer using regular atties, i have moved on to standard cartos, i also think they are cheaper. 5 for $5.99 how can you go wrong with that??

That's odd, one one place on their web site they say-

Stock Warranty: 1 Year

On another place they say-

American-made using top-quality components, with a lifetime guarantee to prove it.

Could they have different warranties for different models?

My understanding is that they will repair/replace it for free for the first year.. 2 if you buy the extended warranty. After that, they will still repair it but it will cost something.
