I am really sorry to hear about your Provari getting stolen, people never cease to amaze me. The good thing is though, for all of the bad eggs out there, there are also people who are good and helpful. I really hope the person who stole it is caught, and hopefully you can find something to tide you over until your next Provari gets to you.

What's cool is there are a lot of great options when it comes to mechanicals. If you get one just as a back up you could try one of the China GG clones. I splurged on mine and got an electric angel from Finland. The telescopic ones appealed to me the most because you can use different battery sizes.

$200 but I over payed alot of folks are getting them cheaper now but it's worth every penny for me. For 100 you have a good amount of choices. A silver bullet for example.

Always wanted to get a silver bullet but never did. May have to get one - in a few weeks at least, since I have just dropped another 220 for the twist and a new v2.5.

To the OP:

How many vapers do you work with? Do you know them well? Do they know what a Provari is? If you work in a huge factory, that sucks, but if you work in a business where you can individually approach each vaper and tell them your Provari was stolen and if they know anything about it, please come forward. That's almost too much to hope for, honesty and such, but there might be a sliver of a chance. I work in a restaurant and all of us vapers are tight -- only one bottle of juice has been stolen from an employee in the past, but that was it... and the word was made known that if the thief was caught, s/he'd be in BIG trouble from ALL of us.

If you know these vapers, and hopefully maybe even hang out with them, drop by their apartment or outside work, and see who "all of a sudden" has a new Provari. Ask your fellow vapers to keep an eye out for someone vaping their "new Provari".

I once had my cash bag stolen (the bag I stuff all my cash payments into at the end of the night). Once I realized it was missing, the entire restaurant was looking for it. Well, before I could get to her, a girl found it and shouted out, "I found it! I found it!" I tried to sush her, but the word spread fast. My plan was to secretly find it, take everything out of it, replace it where the thief had hid it, sit back in my car in the parking lot after work, and wait to see who would come to claim it. Alas, that girl ruined that plan for me. But I was so ready to find that punk!!!!!

Do they know they'll now have to buy a charger for it?

EDIT: I think I'm going to take mine to that place in the mall and have my name etched into it. Classily, of course, but it'd be worth it.

EDIT 2: HOLY BLANK IT HAD TO HAVE BEEN THAT GIRL!

What would you recommend?
As a good back up/leave in the car mechanical mod
How hot does it get in Glasgow in the summer? If it gets very hot, there is no "leave in the car" mod. Li-ion batteries can go boom. (Leaving something in a locked car in summer is the equivalent of putting them in a pan on the stovetop and turning the burner on.)

Yea Ive heard. Would be more of a take it into the car if I would be driving a lot that day etc
Summer here is not that hot at all - high 60's to low 70's with maybe one or two days that hit 80.

Also, not sure if it's been recommended, but I doubt (of course I could be wrong), that they actually cut the lock and broke in just for a ProVari (no offense to the ProVari). I'd make sure nothing else was stolen.

The only other possessions I had in my backpack were books for college and a bottle of Mtn Dew. Guess the person didnt like Marketing or Mtn Dew.

LOL!

Perhaps he or she was just out to cause a ruckus and you happened to be the lucky one to get chosen for the robbery. They noticed something shiny and thought "hey! That looks expensive!"
