Here's a personal observation from a long time lurker. I've noticed that all the Provari vs. (insert New mod here) threads always end up with us saying yeah, it's a good mod, but if only they did (insert new thing here) I'd buy one. It seems that Provari really does their engineering homework and comes out with equipment that lasts a long long time. I'm personally super jealous of that p3 connection. If I had the spare money I might buy a new ti P3 and a P3 base kayfun. Anyway, I do see Provari coming out with a higher wattage mod in the future, but only when they're comfortable with their product.

Perhaps that was the wrong wording. I guess I just don't see anything that ProVape is doing that justifies a price at or above Evolv or SX350 devices.

All three chips are very premium compared to your typical Sigelei, eLeaf or Smok device. With the exception of the "budget" Hcigar DNA 40, the device materials and build are top notch. But the downside is, the features of the ProVari are a bit lackluster compared to the competition. I guess I'm just trying to figure out what makes a Provari worth the same price if not more then these other devices besides perception.

I'm sure ProVape is more comfortable with their design, engineering, testing and product than any other mod maker; batteries and users, not so much...

But then the argument will be " but the provari doesn't have the ionic flux controller" so its not worth the money. Then some old guy will come in, ive had a provari 5.0 for 11 years now. And everyone at the nursing home still loves it. When my grand kids stop by I have em quad flux the kayfun16 for me

This has been going on since the month it was released. What was it back then? Oh yea just get the lavatube instead. It does the same thing

In an industry full of fast releases and equally fast revisions to those releases, mmostly to fix those quick releases, Provari has a pretty good track record of thoroughly testing Their products before they come to market. I really other manufacturers would test their equipment as much before they came out.

Do you mean that they don't trust the batteries? I'm not being intentionally obtuse. Just not following lol.

The power at which new vapers feel they need to vape at has outgrown battery technology, especially in the smaller sizes, like 18350...

I see. Personally my setup would work with AW 18350 batteries, but that's not everyone. More power doesn't necessarily mean a better vape, depending on what you're looking for. Some of the new drippers coming out are flavor chasers and you can efficiently use them at ~15 watts.

I vape at less than 10 watts and get rich saturated flavor and throat hit, but it seems new vapers have been convinced they need clouds.. ProVape doesn't cater to them, but does make mods which would suit the average vaper. I'm using a PV-1 right now and getting tremendous flavor...

Since 2011 EVERYTHING has been better then a provari
The V/Z max was supposed to be the provari clone that ended it all.

How does such a broken and defeated company pay the light bill every month?

Oh yea you heard it here first, mechs are dead too

I'm a very big fan of dense vapor and a lung filling feeling. A side effect of that is clouds. I don't recommend the cloud chasing stuff to new people, but it's definitely a growing category. I switched my subtank plus up a bit earlier; closed off the airflow, used a restricted drip tip, and turned the watts down to 8. I got good flavor and decent vapor, but not the dense vapor and lung filling feeling I've come to crave.

At 250 for a kit, are we seeing the end of provari? That name has been on this forum day and night for years, but really, custom box mods and high end mechanicals coming in at half the price, OR LESS? Do I hear a death rattle from the provari giant? Any long term member here has seen "get a provari" a thousand times, but those posts are fading into the locked section at a fast rate. Is anyone even considering one anymore? I'm not, and I used to want one more than any vape on the market.
Haters will hate.
