I think there's a lot of delusion going around on both sides.

It's obvious...

I see the value of a provari... because I've held, used and still own 2.

But for your average person?
It takes a leap of faith or prior knowledge at the very least.

1) there's always the question of value. Anybody puffing an ego needs a charger and 2 batteries at the very least... maybe a 510 tank or atty also.

Imagine being broke and nic fitting trying to decide if you're going to buy something that costs the price of at least 3 cartons of cigs... and questioning how/if it's going to work... or work any better or longer than what you have...

2) market saturation...

I haven't seen a single realistic claim about what's out in the market currently being used yet.

I saw 4 sigelei 150s yesterday alone.
3 isticks in the past week.
3 cigalikes... ever
(One was a buddies. One was being sold at a truck stop. One was at the Blu sponsored smoking section at six flags the summer before last)

So if it's going to be "for the masses" it needs to reach the masses... and the value has to be understood.

Damn shame. Good mods that do tick all the boxes for the masses. It's just hard to convince them they're cheaper than egos in the long run and won't leave you nic fitting with failed garbage.

The overwhelming majority of the things i read these days is more people than ever think 20 watts is completely inadequate , it's sad . All the rage seems to be high powered mods and the flood of high powered sub ohm tanks doesn't help dispelling the myth.

I remember just a year and a half to two years ago everyone seemed perfectly happy vaping 15 or lower watts , ridiculous these days .

I haven't heard a Provari mentioned anywhere in close to a year , no joke.

i havent heard provari mentioned often either, but i dont think subohming and anything over 20watts is worthless. I USED to think this back before i tried over 40+watts of vaping and subohm coils. In fact I used to disagree and argue with oberon about this same topic a while ago. I've since then tried vaping at over 40 watts and have built and vaped on <0.2 coils, and as much as I didnt believe it, he was correct in saying the flavor was better, and the vape was more enjoyable than <20watt vaping. For me that is, so no, it is not a myth that needs to be dispelled. It's just another way of vaping that others dont like or dont know about. I admit I didnt know about it and therefore didn't understand it and wrote it off as some 'myth' before I actually tried it. Which completely changed my outlook on several things over the past few months on subjects more than the whole low power/high power debate. Like trying not to be bias on things I have no experience in and never tried in the first place to judging others for what they like to do or vape.
