Thanks for the reply Kenny. As of right now, I have a 2.1 ohm microcoil with 13 or 14 wraps of 28 gauge, wrapped around a 2.5mm bit. I use japanese cotton (koh gen do specifically), and on my friends advice, use a fair amount. I fluff the tails, and trim them so they are just touching the juice deck. Not blocking the channels or anything, sort of just pushed up against the sides after juicing the wick. It does really good at 12 or 13 watts, but in preparation for the P3, I'm trying to find a good tank that can handle up to 20 watts.

It's an authentic svoemesto kayfun with the DX top fill kit and I got the glass kit from them too. I replaced that glass with a better one, can't recall the website I bought it from, but it's smoked pyrex, not quartz. It really does look nice, and with my driptipdesignz drip tip, the whole thing is worth more than a brand new Provari v2.5. It's a shame for something so luxurious not to meet my needs, but at this point I've sort of accepted the 12 watt range, although my friend can do his at 17-18 and he's building almost exactly like I am. I think he has elf powers...

You might be using too much cotton. Less is more in the KFL's. Too little is possible, but pretty difficult. Too much cotton & your wick won't be able to keep up.

See that's the thing that boggles my mind. I'm a pro at wicking my trident v2 on my reo running at 0.37 ohms. My buddy does his cotton tighter than I do and he can get it up to 18 watts no sweat

Different platforms are going to wick differently. With the KFL the #1 biggest problem for new users to the platform is too much cotton. To give you an idea of how little I use, I have 4 of them, all get rewicked pretty frequently, 1 of them gets a new wick every tank. 1 small cotton ball lasts me somewhere between 6 & 9 months.

But really, what Crazy said earlier. You don't need to push high power through them to get a good vape. I wouldn't be so concerned about a number, but how much flavor it's cranking out. More power doesn't mean more flavor.

Every platform is different. The KFL is the best performer at low power that I've ever tried.

It's doing well at 12.5 watts, but I really have to rip on it to keep the vacuum going. It typically stays giving me dry hits after its been sitting for any period of time

Thanks =) only svoemesto part left is the base and the lower half of the chimney. The rest is the dx top fill kit and glass kit from avidvapor. Comes with a threaded chimney that screws into the top cap. I replaced their quartz tank with a smoked the Pyrex one, can't remember which site I got that from. Rainbow tanks or something

That drip tip is my favorite one and was like 40 bucks lol. I got it from the drip tip designz website
