Hello all!

I'm new here and am not sure where to ask this, so if there is a better place...please let me know.

I've been vaping on and off for two years now and just in the last 3 months, have decided to go full time and dump the analog smokes. I have several different types of tanks and mods, including a Provari 2.0, Innokin SVD, Segili Zmax and Smok tech telescope. I use a few different tanks such as Protanks, Vivi Novas and recently got a couple of DCtanks.

OK...so now onto my issue. I have purchased a few Smoktech 1.5ohm dual coil carts and am confused as to what's happening. I use them for a day running at 4.3 volts and next thing I know, they drop to 1.2ohm and only the provari will fire them. Any other mod errors out. Don't know why they drop like that. I even had one drop to 0.9ohm 24 hours after I used a new one.

I had that problem on a box of Boge tank cartos. They were reading too low on my vv Gripper to fire. Most APVs have a low current cut-off, normally 1.2ohm. I had to use my Spinner for the rest of the box. I only get 1.7ohm or above now. I have a Vamo now and am not sure what the low cut-off is. OH, most APVs have a +/- of .2 or .3 ohm built in.

Thankfully, the new Provari 2.0 has a 3.4 amp switch and has no issue firing anything about 0.8, but am wondering why these cartos are dropping. I would expect if one of the coils popped, they would be running at a higher ohm not lower?
