Provari V1 vs. V2

Hi all, hopefully not a dumb question. I've read about folks getting their V1's upgraded to V2. What would one need to look for to see if a provari had been upgraded?

simple...v1 only goes down to 3.3 volts....v2 goes down to 2.9
