Hello all,

First I would like to inform you all on my experience with the Provari V2 mod. I bought the mod three and a half years ago and have dropped it at least a 100 times. This thing is a TANK! I am accustom to using a SmokTech 1.5 Ohm Dual Coil atomizer and a 5mL tank. I bought the extended battery option for the mod and use 2200mA 3.7V High Drain IMR battery. Since the Provari is a variable voltage mod, I have it set on average at 3.6V. The clearer the e-liquid the longer the atomizers would last. At most I could get a month out of one atomizer if I kept the voltage under 3.6V and used a clear e-liquid. At the very least, one week with a darker and fuller juice. Honestly, it doesn't produce that much vapor even though I am using a 60/40 ratio. Now, my tried and true mod is on its last leg. One month ago the plastic shielding over the display broke and fell off. I get an E-8 error code fairly frequently and I have to smack the bottom of the mod to get it to work again. In retrospect that probably is not good for it, but I am in the market for a sleeker and more vapor producing mod. Which brings me to my second statement /question. Veterans I need you advice and help. I am in the market for the smallest and sleekest mod on the market. However, I am willing to sacrifice size if the amount of vapor produced is A LOT! I want to see a cloud, ya know? Hit me with your suggestions and feel free to ask me any questions about my experience with the Provari.

If you love your ProVari, there are a couple of options open to you.

1. Contact Provape and see if they will repair it. From what I understand, the fees for fixing it up are fairly minimal. I've read about people sending their mod in and getting it back all shiny and new-like for like 25 bucks (plus S&H)...but that's been a few years, so I would suggest contacting them and asking how much it would cost.

2. Provape is in the process of releasing the ProVari 3, which has variable wattage and a whole slew of other things built in now. You could always look into that.

3. I've heard a lot of good things about the DNA mods, but I don't have much experience with them...and they are plentiful.

I agree with Xaiver. If you like your ProVari--have it fixed.

Standard Service Repair Costs

Replace Window and screws- $14.00
Replace Electronic Assembly (Circuit Board / Top Cap) - $70.00
Upgrade to V2 - $20.00
Replace pushbutton - $10.00
Repairs to the circuit board - $25.00
Cleaning - $20.00
Replace top cap - $15.00
P3 Replacement beauty ring and 510 adapter - $10.00

Contact them and ask for an estimate.

If you like your ProVari and you'd like a new one, wait for the version 3.

If you're interested in something new, consider Evolv's DNA--particularly the just released DNA 40 with temperature regulation.

Good luck!
