I agree with you whole-heartedly there. Don't get me wrong; I love America and I support the working man. If you question that, look at my screen name - I served for 4 years in the Marine Corps ready to defend America. But I am also a consumer, and as one I look for deals on things. I don't have a whole lot of disposable income so I need to spend it smartly. If you are in the position financially that you can spend $200 on a ProVari and buy it directly from ProVape that's fine, I have no problem with that whatsoever. For me, I have to take the $99 option from FT. That price is just too good to get the exact same product; I just won't be able to say I got it from ProVape directly.

Same here, if I can buy locally (especially food), I will do.

We used to have a small farm nearby, that sold amazing eggs, butter, mushrooms, peppers etc. All produce fresh, amazing taste and quite reasonable price. Slightly more than the usual imported produce from the supermarket, but well worth the little extra. Only problem was, the farm was up a steep 1/2 mile track off the road, so you had to walk to it. Then one of the large Supermarket chains opened an Express store at the bottom of the road, huge free car park, convenience and price all in one package. The farm stopped selling his fresh produce within a month.

Anyway, back on topic. I know that the OP is just speculating, but I think it's quite an interesting question :D

As do I. I took it as a kind of tongue-in-cheek, what if, hypothetical question. Have fun with it, don't get muddled down with the fact that it is 99.9% improbable.

If this were an actual offer...would you buy?

Damn' right!

Provari is way too expensive for the sum of it's components. If it ever show a up in a Chinese site means is made in China so "Handmade in USA" is just a sticker .
.. probably also made in China.

of course it is. just like the parts to make a bugatti veyron arent the 3 million they charge for it. yet volkswagen still loses money off each bugatti sold due to the extremely high r&d costs it takes to make a product of that quality

Some people are going to be mad because they looked at this thread. :)

I will only buy a Provari from Provape unless I run across one of the cut downs that were done on an earlier model.

I don't know why anyone would be mad reading this thread...

Anyway, I can think of situations where I would buy one and it not be directly from ProVape to me. Let's say a friend of mine bought one and after a week he wanted to sell it to me for $99. Don't read too deep into the why of it, just let's say. I would certainly buy it from him. I have no moral obligation to ProVape to buy one only from them for their listed price.

The point I'm trying to make is: it's a real, authentic, genuine, built with pride in the USA, ProVari. If it's $99 or $199, I am always going to pick the one for $99. It's to no advantage to me to spend the extra $100. But that's me.

I think the ProVari R&D is paid by now :)... if VW is losing money... they should not make the Veyron in the first place , maybe they will bundle it with a ProVari and make the brand profitable again :)

First of all, thank you for your service.

I agree 100%. I would only add that any $$ saved by dealing with FT often gets rolled into supporting local vendors for the "more important" stuff. In my case, i have more $$ to spend at the local farmer's market. I'd much rather support local farmers than ANY domestic e-cig vendor, if it really came down to a choice.

No. Right now, today, I would not buy underwear on FT.

I have an old friend who has fallen on hard times staying with me currently. He recently made the switch from analogs to vapin'. He's been taken in by FastTech Joe (aka St. Joe to some people, as he can do no wrong...), a few times, and hashad NOTHING but trouble with EVERY order.

Just last night he got an order in; half missing, and the half that did show up was 3/4 DOA. Last week a mystery package showed up, with MY name on it, with a AAA battery charger in it. I didnt order this...he didnt...what the heck? Turns out the tracking number was for an order that has since gone missing. They want HIM to pay the shipping back to them (for the thing no one ordered). wait the two weeks for them to decide IF they are going to refund him, and THEN they will start looking for the lost order. Yeah, you just read that right. Paypal dispute to the rescue.

These are just two examples of the nightmare he has gone through with FT...there are plenty more. The guy just doesn't learn...

Look, there will undoubtedly be people that say "I have ordered X amount of times and nothing went wrong, blah blah blah". That doesn't really matter to me. What matters to me is that one order that I make that goes horribly wrong. Good customer service matters to me. Im as frugal as they come..trust me on that, but I will not put up with garbage customer service to save a buck. Not even for a $99 Provari.

I can totally understand where you're coming from with that. If that kind of thing had happened to me, I would probably be in the same position you are in, warning people not to buy from FT and certainly not buying from them again myself. I have yet to order anything from FT and stories like yours do indeed weigh on my decision to ever actually place an order from them.

That being said, in this particular fictional scenario of $99 ProVaris, I'd buy one.
