You're right, it's not a loud click. However it's not silent like your tv remote either. Dunno how else to describe it.
It just annoyed me having to press it all the time.

I thought maybe you thought it was the "clicky" button like LT or a lot of other mods.
I understand the one-button interface isn't for everyone. I personally don't have a problem with it and actually like it quite a bit, but everyone's different.
Wheels on mods are usually attached to potentiometers, which have their own issues, especially if they come in contact with juice.
