This post is kind of a response or second thought to the post in the new members forum regarding if you can smell anything from the vapor.

I am kind of continuing the idea in a different respect. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this.

So I was at a resturant the other night (This is California). I went outside after dinner and was enjoying a nice vaping session. So a family comes out of the resturant and walks by as I was taking "a puff". To my surprise the guy in the group starts coughing and waving his hand in front of his face!! Ok, I couldnt believe this, he completly acted as though I was a smoker smoking a cigarette and invading his air. I mean he really reacted as though a big puff of cigarette smoke had just been blown in his face, coughing and all. My only conclusion is this is totally psycological, in his head. He saw someone making the actions of smoking, a little vapor coming out of my mouth and reacted as though it was smoke. So how much of non-smokers reaction and drama is all in thier head????

BTW, My wife and I had a gut busting laugh over this :D

I have had the same thing happen! I think they just gear up for the breath taking cloud of smoke that they expect. Not many people are familiar with vaping, so to them, it must be smoke. Funny, nonetheless.

Some thing here Queen--its all a lot on nonsense!!!! People are programed to put on their drama hat when they see anything that resembles somkeing-----------Sun

It's funny how 40 years ago when people were smoking everywhere, (courtrooms, teachers lounge, hallways at highschool basketball games, hospitals) people weren't falling over dead or almost puking like they are today. Now maybe it's cause I grew up in a smoking household but, smoking does not smell good, but it's not that bad either. These same treehuggers will go to a farm or petting zoo and be all smiles standing next to a huge pile of fresh manure.

The anti's are so rabidly venomous about anything "coloring their atmosphere" that no amount of "education" is going to change them short of a large, heavy object aside the head......which I don't recommend....:D

They've had, what, 20+ years to instill this hatred of cigarettes in the public.....

IMO, the antis are not after public health, public safety, or any of the other pap they smear over their campaign - that's just the smokescreen to hide their real adgenda...

They want complete and total repairation. Back in the 40's, 50's, etc. the smokers had the rights, and the anti's were told: If you don't like it, don't breathe. Yes, rather cruel in retrospect. But now, the tide has turned: If you don't like it, don't smoke...... Complete reversal to be complete when there isn't a single smoker left with rights to his or her addiction. They're well on their way to making it illegal to smoke out of the house, pushing lawmakers into more and more prohibitive smoking bans, and even have started targeting people who smoke in their cars (to protect the children)

Now comes along a Personal Vaporizer, which threatens to derail that and make everyone happy......

So: "Sorry, Charlie, but you made us unhappy, and their ain't no way you're getting off without being unhappy, too" will be the new mantra for the anti's. If it makes you happy, it's bad!

Bottom line? The anti-smoking groups out there, well funded by various big corporations, don't just want us to stop smoking, they want us to be MISERABLE because we've been FORCED to stop smoking...
