Does this happen when you give an analog smoker a sample?

I find it kind of odd that everytime I let an analog smoker a try of one of my ecigs they cough their head off.
I guide them by telling them not to hit it like a cigarette. To just draw smoothly and create negative pressure but they still react this way. Does this happen to you?
I have converted a number of smokers to vapers none the less!

I had a similiar experience the other day. I had a smoker try an ecig and they coughed and said she didn't know how I could stand it. She said it made her lungs hurt worse then smoking. I chalked it off as she wasn't really interested.

I can confirm this as well. Most of my friends who have tried my gear often have to try it a couple of times to get the hang of it without coughing. Oh man.... I miss so much looking back on my first vape ever.... the initial giddiness, the absolute joy... that feeling bubbling up inside "This! This will work! I can just feel it!!"

I hope I can see that sparkle in someone else soon....

My best friend who would desperately like to vape has the same issue. It's taken some time to get her to drag properly on an e-cig, but working with the little 78mms from Smokeless Image, non-menthol, 12mg juice. Any of the big batteries make her hack a lung up. Higher VG content 60/40 VG/PG has also helped. I had issues with coughing occasionally when I was really pulling too. I think it's a matter of getting used to vapor vs. smoke. Vapor is definitely thicker and I think a little more work for the lungs until you get used to it.

Mostly my friends refuse and look at my ecig with suspicion as if it may do them harm!!! When they do try it it is exactly as you describe.
Agree. Several smoking friends had major coughing fits and described the hit of my PV comparable to "throat killer" analogues! Question is; were they impressed? Surprisingly, yes. So far, about three have since converted to PV's and can't believe how much money they've saved either. And that's got to be a good thing, yes? :)
