PTB and problems

For a while now I have been using the pyramid tea bag method for my 510 carts. It works OK, but not as great as some say... lemme tell you what I have noticed over the past few months:

(1) 15 drops myth - this does not happen. You cannot get 15 drops into these things unless they are really really tiny drops. If you do ...

(2) flooding - so you get your 15 tiny drops in and all the sudden the atomizer is flooded. Great. Then you either clean out or blow out the atomizer so the ecig works again. Goodbye wasted liquid.

(3) Time - if I have a really good PTB cart working at 11 at night, and I do not take it all apart before I go to bed, when I wake up, all the liquid is in the atomizer -- even if it is on its side. What gives on that?

From what I can tell, the PTB mod works if you get 5 - 10 tiny drops in it, refill said amount after it starts getting dry, and never store it with liquid in it or it will flood your atomizer.

Am I doing something wrong?

try direct dripping and you won't have to worry about any of that again, it seems to work so much better for me. or maybe try cartomizers, though i would still prefer dripping over them as well. its certainly not you--just the vagaries of the cart/cart mod method.

Which PTB method are you using? There are several ways to put the PTB in the cart.

I didnt know there was different PTB methods. I tryed the one where you roll it up, fold it in half and cut to fit but it didnt vaporize anymore liquid than pollyfill still wasting a lot of juice. Perhaps Im not doing it right???

I just tried the blue plug (marineland acquarium filter) and it is great in a regular cartridge. Takes more juice in and feeds continually untill it's dry.
