Personally, I think its silly the reasoning why everyone should be closet vapers. Well, silly with one exception. We have to hide so all the stupid people who don't realize what it is we are actually using and doing don't get offended and pass stupid laws to take away even more of the freedom our forefathers fought for so the ignorant self righteous buttheads can stand on a pedestal munching big macs, gulping sodas, racing for heart disease while they pound their chests over passing another sin tax.

Yup, Ill hide in the corner so I dont offend anyone. For now. But when the hell are we going to start standing up for common sense and taking back the freedoms we have lost? Or do we hide forever and watch it all snowball to hell and melt away?

I think it depends honestly. Some people just like to impress others by the fact that they can blow these amazingly large clouds (dont get me wrong, it is cool...) Having said that, I also agree that it can be excessive and kind of lame as well.

People who vape solely for cloud creation just have a different perspective on the vaping culture in general i've found.

Some people just like to impress others that they can blow. Some people wear depends. Some people just wanna do whatever they want to do so long as it doesn't cause harm to anyone else. May be they are just good ol dependable, blowable Americans. Either they are hurting someone or they arent. If they arent then why shouldn't we just leave them alone?

Now see. Thats called politeness. A simple good old fashioned trait that requires no laws or politicians to produce the desired results. Two dibs for politeness.

Yes, POLITENESS! Kudos to trazzman!!! Respect for other people's breathing room/space, whether it's bad for them or not.

There's a common courtesy rule that apparently a lot of people have forgotten.

If you're blowing a huge cloud, believe me, I don't want to walk through it. Cuz I don't want to inhale your breath. And that's what it amounts to, inhaling YOUR breath.

Whether or not it's harmful doesn't mean squat to me, it's YOUR breath that I don't want to inhale.

I know vaping is harmless but what else have you done to yourself in the past? I don't want your germs invading my space.

You do realize they say carbon atoms have been around from the beginning of time and its quite likely you haved inhaled a carbon atom that has been shared by millions, even billions of other people? Maybe even Einstein, Elvis, Michael Jackson or George Washington? Even Attila the Hun, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, or even Barrack Obama?

Yes, I do. However, walking thru a fog of exhale, doesn't make me want to breathe until I walk thru it and am past it.

I'm a vaper, 100% now after 15 + weeks of giving up analogs.

Blow clouds in the open air, blow clouds in your home, just don't do it in my breathing space. If it's offensive to me as a vaper, think of how offensive it is to the GP.

I don't mind walking through atoms... Can't avoid it. It's actually just come up here at work. I've been vaping now about 3 months. It was so nice being inside not having to go out for a cigarette. All that changed this week, apparently it was "causing a distraction to others" is about how they put it.

Because while it is safer (IMO), it's seeing breath and huge clouds lingering in the air. I'm all for
an alternative to smoking, vaping has really worked for me. Seems like there's always going to be someone to mess it up.

Well, blowing it someones face would be rude, granted. Problem is, it really doesnt matter where you blow it, there are plenty of self righteous people out there who will cry even if you blow it 10 feet away from them. If you love freedom you should love blowing it anywhere you want. I thank god my last girlfriend loved freedom. I just wish I could have kept her.

Big cloud, little cloud. Whats the dif? I wonder if smoking was banned because of big clouds? Maybe because of blowing it others faces? Or maybe because a bunch of self righteous do-gooders thought they knew what was best for everyone? If your gonna stand for something, stand for it. Either your hurting someone else or your not. I pretty sure no matter what or how you blow it isnt going to hurt anyone if your not blowing it in there faces or it doesnt contain slew of carcinogens that could somehow creep up their nose.

I agree with that 100%, trazzman. I despise those people too. But no, blowing huge blasts of vape where ever you want is just not common courtesy. Especially in a crowded area.

And sorry about your last girlfriend.

I really hope you were trying to be derogatory because if so that's hilarious... if not then I'm sorry you broke up o_O

I always ask when in a non-smoking business. I only use drippers, but I personally hate drawing a lot of attention to myself, so I'm usually taking very small hits and exhaling toward the ground. I would just explain to your friend that even though it's safe, and technically allowed in most places, the majority of people see big clouds and automatically associate it with drugs or something unsafe, which only damages the mass opinion of vaping.

It took me a few of these comments to agree with the lot of you, but I see your points and definitely agree now. I am relatively new to vaping and do enjoy cloud chasing, but i dont want people thinking that is the only reason i do it. I keep the big clouds to a minimum when around people who are not as comfortable with vaping.
