public vaping

Hey guys, I have been vaping for a couple months now and haven't touched an analog since. In fact they seem gross to me know which is great.

I have converted a few of my friends to it also but am constantly embarrassed by one of them. All he seems to care about is trying to look cool by filling the whole area with vapor. I feel like it is annoying to people and puts a negative impression about vaping. I mean I like a lot of vapor production also but I don't let it slowly pour from my mouth to make a thick cloud or anything...

Anyone else think this?

I agree, your friend is acting like a (insert derogatory name here)... but, hey they're not smoking. Remind them that without you all that would not be possible and to refrain from embarrassing you any more.

I don't like the huge clouds myself, as I feel it's a waste of good juice. But I'm old, and cheap.

If vapors hide behind closed doors how will they have personal experiences with them? If they only see vapors in smoking areas they're going to see both as the same.

I don't see why vapers should do so behind closed doors either. If I'm out and about, I will vape outside, around other people. I don't blow in anyone's face, but I make no attempt to hide what I'm doing. I haven't been doing this for very long and I'm a bit shy, so I'm a bit disinclined to ask if I'm allowed to do this inside of establishments, but I see nothing wrong with others doing so. As long as everyone's respectful. I just don't want to assume that everyone is okay with it and fill small spaces with vapor that may or may not negatively impact someone's health. Especially with the flavor additives. I know that PG and VG are safe to breathe (at least in the small amounts that 2nd hand vapor would give an individual), but I worry that the additives used for flavor could negatively impact others. But like I said, I treat it like a cigarette, and tend to vape in the same situations and places I used to smoke.

I agree with you. No one else should have to inhale what he has just exhaled. I am sure many people would not know what it is and it could be worrying!
