Pulled the trigger on a Vamo. Now what?

I just ordered my first big mod. A Vamo.

How much better are they really compared to the spinner I'm using now?

Also, suggestions on a good delivery device? I'm currently using Kanger T3s and I have an adapter for the Vamo. I ordered a couple of mini novas? Would a tank be any better. I seem to get flooded atomizers with dripping.

Well I can's say much about the topper because I use an RBA. My girl uses a tank/carto and she likes it. I went from the Ego twist to a Vamo and it is night and day. Much, much better vape. A lot better. haha

Vamo is variable wattage (vw) and variable voltage (vv). Spinner is variable voltage. With the wattage, once you figure out what you like to vape, you set it and forget it. No matter what resistance you place on the Vamo, it will always hit that sweet spot for you. With vv you have to adjust by taste, and the resistance. The nice thing is, with the Vamo, you can choose both. Spinners are limited to just voltage adjustments. Make sure you watch a few videos on the difference between the 2 (vw and vv). It can be a bit overwhelming to learn.

As far as tanks go, I like the Vivi-nova's. Alot of folks here are partial to the bottom coil devices, like the kanger. It's really gonna be trial and error to find what YOU like. Luckily these things aren't terribly expensive, so just try a few different kinds till you decide on one.

I prefer the carto tank as my primary delivery system. Then an AGA-T2. I do use a Vivi-nova as my last device. All 3 get used pretty much daily.

I just got one myself. Be sure to try to get at 3 18350 batteries cause they go dead fast. And at least 2 18650 batteries. I just got my first cargo tank and love it!

The only advantage the ego twist has on a vamo is it last longer between charges, as far as a topper for it, I would go with a carto/tank setup. If you ordered the black chrome vamo like I have, the Gun Metal Artemas Locking 510 DCT tank matches perfectly.

The only reason i get a VAMO is because my RBAs require a lot more power than the poor eGo batteries can put out.

My rule of thumb is always let your batteries follow your delivery systems (toppers) in terms of upgrades. I always find it funny when people put a Nova on a Provari.

I've had my Vamo for a little over a week now, and alternately use carto tanks, Vivi Nova Minis, and drip attys. I think the carto tanks have the best flavor and vapor production, with the Vivi Nova's a decent 2nd option. The attys are great for a quick hit or if you just want to switch between a bunch of flavors. I flooded the heck out of mine when I first started using them, but seem to have it figured out now. I think the juice has a lot to do with it. It seems, for me at least, that some juice I can drip 3-5 drops, whereas others will flood the atty if I drip any more than 2.

How long does your battery last before it needs to be charged? I have to charge mine every day while me ego twist when I was using it last at least a couple of days.

Then either you have defective batteries, batteries that hold much less charges that it claims on the label, or you are running the two at entirely different power level. If you run your 18650s at 12W while the Twist at 6W, then, duh.

Remember that even if you use them with the same coil, there is a difference. The eGo caps off very low in terms of power. So even if you run both of them on a 1.5 ohm coil, and set the Twist at 4.8V, it is likely the Twist is not putting out nearly the power you set it to. Try it on a multimeter and you will see what i mean.

When all other factors are fixed, the simple truth is that electric charge capacity determines how long your batteries last relative to each other.

Congrats on your vamo. I have one as well and like it quite a bit. One thing you will have with the vamo over the spinner now is versatility with the delivery devices you want to explore. I also have a spinner. It was my starting device, which I still use for certain delivery devices like T3s.

Have fun exploring what your vamo can do now along with and over the top of the spinner.

I have to disagree with masguapoakosayo and agree with Kanj. I am using a Panasonic cgr18650ch 2250 mah battery in my Vamo and I am getting on average 19 hours of use on one charge. I am a heavy vaper, using probably 5 - 8 mls of e-liquid a day.

they seem to be working for me. And if you check vaporjoes.com, I think he mentions a sale on them, something like 4 for $20 something. I would jump on that deal if I had the spare cash
