Hello again!

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my first set up. Just want to drop in and say thanks to all who helped me in my decision and who have inspired me to quit this disgusting habit! I'm really looking forward to getting my first shipment of stuff and even more excited to give up the smokes for good.

I took it upon myself to buy a few disposables before I made my purchase to get some idea of what I'm in for. I have to say, I am already liking it. Much more than analogs, that's for sure.

My initial setup was suggested by Baditude in my first thread. Big thanks goes out to him for being such a big help and giving clear and concise information for me to look at. Also, big thanks to every one else who made suggestions or supported someone else's suggestions. This forum is a really great tool and makes giving up the smokes much easier and less overwhelming.

My order is as follows:

3 - Mini Vivi Novas
2 - 1000 mAH Stainless eGo-c Twists
1 - eGo series USB Charger
1 - eGo series Wall Charger

After a lot of reading, researching and suggestions, this to me looked like the best, most economical choice for someone starting out. I ordered the Twists and the USB charger from Alt-Smoke. Ordered the Mini Vivi Novas and the wall charger from Discount-Vapers.

I ordered my first batch of juices all from Virgin Vapor. I ended up getting:

1/2 oz of Lemon Rose
1/2 oz of Original Sin (apple)
Sampler Pack that includes:
Blue Violet
Orange Creamsicle
Singing the Blues (Blueberry)

Once again, just want to thank everyone. I'll be referring all my friends here if they show interest in vaping as well as returning myself for any other questions I might come up with.

:)

That is almost the exact same thing I ordered last night. Woke up this morning and AltSmoke had already shipped my Ego Twists, chargers, ViVi, and 2 other clearo's (do they ever sleep? The tracking number updated at 4:18am this morning lol)

The only thing that I got that you didnt (or possibly didnt mention) was a Type C (because I got a 3.5ml Nova, a Type B would fit the Mini's) sleeve to fill up the little open space between the ViVi and the Twist battery

eGo Thread Sleeve Type B - Fits All Std eGos CHROME [gv-egoTypeBTHREADSLEEVE-CHROME] - $2.45 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

And the other thing I would suggest is a stand alone Pass Through so you came Vape when you are sitting in your comfy chair at home, or when the cat knocked the charger cord out of the wall and you realize your Twists are dead in the morning

GotVapes AMiGo VV Mini eGo Pass Through 3.0-4.8 - BLACK [gv-AMIGO-minipassthrough-BLACK] - $17.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Both together should run right around $22 with shipping

I'm pretty sure there is one included with the Minis I bought, but I could be totally wrong.

Here is what the link says..

"eGo compatible and comes with the eGo cone skirt to fit directly on to an eGo battery..."

Am I reading that wrong?

Nice to be hearing so much approval from some experienced vapers!

I will definitely update this thread when I get everything and let you know how it's going. I'm sure I'll have some questions at first.
I don't think you'll be disappointed! Even people that use mods like the ProVari still use the spinners too just because of the slim form, so you started at just the right level. You may move on to bigger devices, but you'll get a ton of mileage out of these. Plus since these use 510 and ego threading, all (well, most) of the tanks, cartos, and clearos you buy will work on the bigger devices. I am using Smokeless Image products and they use 808 threading so I have to use adapters on mods. If you are interested in stuff like the ProVari, check out GrimmGreen PBusardo and FieldOfVapor on YouTube, they all have a ton of great product reviews!

If you are, I am too lol...
Edit: just looked at the pic and I see what they're talking about. Not really a "cone skirt" per se but, like a stardust clearo, it has a built in thread cover. So, yeah these will look sleek and "fitted" on your batts.

Nice! I'm glad that's the case. Should be a nice look. I may have mentioned it, but my batts are stainless and the minis are clear. Should be a pretty sleek look. Sooo excited!
