punched w/o tank

Ok so i am getting a pack of ST1.7 Resurrectos(punched & flanged) from ccv, 15ml of dragon blood, and 5ml of Georgia Ice(Black tea, spearmint, peach) from ECB. I dont have budget to get any attys from a diff vendor and i checked, neither vendor carries attys. So my question is can i somehow plug the hole on the carto and still have it work for the 5ml without a tank? I have heard that once a carto is punched you cant use it w/o a tank? I heard it messes with the airflow and wicking and causes indefinite flooding. I just dont want to fill my only tank with a sample i dont know if i like. If anyone has tried this lemme know how it went for ya. Thanks!

You can cut the end off the condom and slide it over the hole.

You can do two things, the first is more of a PITA to restore to the original form but still simple none the less.

1. Stick a toothpick in the hole and snap it off leaving just the plug.
2. Put your finger over the hole when you drag (Which I have done many times before and works just fine)

You can vape a punched carto without a tank. The draw is airy-er. Carto condom method works well, too.

Wouldn't you end up vaping some adhesive on the tape this way?

I'm with the condom method though I've had a few melt on me at HV vaping.

I don't mean to bring back an old thread but I wanted to make it a little easier to find because it helped me.

Can you use a boge carto cartomizer with holes already punched in the carto without w/o having it in inside (no, outside) a tank.

Id like to see someone make a stainless steel ring that slides down the carto, fits tight and could be turned to allow more or less holes as we see fit.

This would allow us a lot more versatility with our cartos and we could use them with any juice out there.

I was talking about something a bit more durable than scotch tape and that can be used inside of a tank as well as outside.

If they would slide all the way down the carto and had the holes in the right place that would be perfect. I wouldnt have to worry about buying 1 hole pre-punched for this juice and 2 holes for that one and so on.

They are about 1 1/4 inch long, fit over all the 510/ego style carto's.. not sure of other types. O-rings top and bottom and there is 1 pre-filled hole in it.. wouldn't be a bad setup, you can cover the hole with your finger and not have to worry about it getting overly hot.

I have these for my dripping system.
