All pharmaceuticals must have a lot number. If there is a problem with the product the batch can be traced where it came from and who made it. If the lot number of a faulty product is known the product can be taken off the shelves quickly.

After looking through everything I could, I found that my glycerin is in fact made by HUMCO. You were a great help. Thanks a lot!

The posts on the first page of this thread, to trash a bottle of Glycerine USP, are frightening. It worries me what they would use instead. This is exactly what you want. Most Glycerine USP that is bottled for pharmacy chains is produced by the same handful of manufacturers, and branded separately. The warnings are standard CYA, in case someone drank bottles of the stuff and tried to sue.

I posted a picture of it on the first page of the thread. Poison warning is the same you would find on toothpaste, mouthwash, etc., but I'll type out the full warning for you.
"In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes."

oh for cryin out loud; when you said it had a poison label on it I imagine everybody assumed you meant the skull and crossbones poison label.

THAT is a 'poison label'

Yeah sorry about that. Lol I definitely should've worded it better. Also that looks like a jack-o-lantern not a poison label. :p
