wow, I've been buying from puresmoker since I stated vaping and they've always been pretty good, still have my first 2 mods from them, V3 and icon. sucks to hear this, there karma scotch has been my go to daily vape for almost 3 years now :(

I wish them the best of luck with a mess like this, what sucks is now a days, just to do business you wind up having to stick your neck out even in the normal course of business and it only takes one wrong customer to just chop your head clean off...

In regards to PS closing:

None of us really know for sure why they closed their web site / store, the law suit is either still pending or has been settled out of court, again we do not know.

Steve the founder of Pure Enterprises and PS from what others have said has opened a B&M store in Nashville, TN called VolVapor.

Now lets be smart here, if lets just say he was hosed and had to liquidate his company he would not be able to run a B&M under the Pure Enterprises or PS companies; fact, Pure Enterprises was a LLC or a Corporation, I forget which one, but this is done to protect people personally so if something occurs as it did the ones suing your company cannot sue you (you can be sued, but separately), or rather you are not conjoined so they take not only your business, but your home, cat, dog, etc...

Fact; the explosion was most likely the cause of the person using the incorrect type of battery cells in the V3 device, therefore the user would have to assume liability for using the device in a manner it was not intended, and or the battery manufacturer would be liable for said damages if the batteries were at fault.

Either way if one had to liquidate there companies, why would they crap all over the people that supported them, the customers?

Regardless of why he did what he did, he could have bowed out a bit more gracefully, after all it is us, the consumers / customers that made him what his business had evolved into.

Just my two cents worth.:2c:

I do wish him and his family the best, however I would be hard pressed to buy anything from any company or store he was affiliated with.

still no response on my issue...ticket # is still showing invalid as well. I do feel for Steve and his family and am trying to remain calm and give them time to respond to me about the missing packages. I will wait till thursday and start a dispute with my bank...such a shame I would have much rather received my legacy and spare parts

If you did not get a shipping confirmation with a tracking number, it would seem it did not ship.

On the other hand if you did (not clear on this), the USPS has had a real bad run of carriers of late, meaning they have a bunch of folks stealing!

If you have not received a tracking number and you have no way to contact PS, which I am not aware of any way to contact them, I personally would not wait another minute, CALL YOUR BANK...NOW!

Again my two cents worth.:2c:

I did receive a tracking number and the package has stated delivered for almost a week. My postmaster stated puresmoker has to start the tracking process as they did insure the packages. If the package was stolen I still want them to receive the money...I just dont want to be out the money since I didnt get the product

Kj,

I had a similar issue with my shipment from Provape, granted they are still in business, and can make good, and did make good on the stolen / missing shipment the burden of proof lies with the carrier, which in your case as it was in mine the USPS. I escalated my issue to the Postal Inspectors Service, the law enforcement division of the postal service. These people are the only one that can help you besides your bank if the bank even will? By filing an official complaint with the PIS you will insure that regardless of the outcome of your shipment' status, you are the victim. You paid you money in good faith for something, PS in turn shipped your items, somewhere in the translation your parcel is missing. The PIS can find out if the item is lost in space, mis-routed, and yes even stolen. The point here is that now you have no way to reach the shipper and the party that has to officially file for a shipping loss is no longer in business and YES you are a VICTIM!

ALSO by filing a complaint with the PIS you will have a case number, an agents name and phone number you can give yoor bank representative in order to recoup your money.

I know you spent at least a $100.00 or more and if you are like any of us you work hard for your money, and you don't wanted to get screwed!

At this point it is MOOT, start the ball rolling so at least you have everything you need to protect yourself, and stop feeling sorry for Steve, he is doing just fine my friend!

And here is the kicker, you file a complaint, the PIS cannot determine where or who took your stuff, you file for a bank card reversal, your bank gives you your money back......2 months later your stuff shows up, what to do now you say....well this is a delicate situation one may think, but it's not, PS got paid, you got screwed by the USPS, the PIS couldn't help, so you being the honest person you are call the PIS to inform them your parcel showed up, guess what, that's all they care about!

Now the playing field is even! It's a win, win!

Right now its a win for PS (they got paid and shipped your stuff), you loose, no stuff, your out your money! Do you think Steven Russel McVey give a rats rear end if you get your stuff?

He's doing so bad he' able to open a B&M !
(It's not like you live where I do, and you can drive up to Nashville and see the guy and ask for his help, as if he really cares...)

END OF STORY!

GET YER FRICKEN MONEY BACK MY FRIEND! YOU CAN'T GET PS TO RE-SHIP IT THEY'RE OUT OF BUSINESS!
(sorry I yelled)

I just care and I am trying to help...

I'm happy with the cheap Budcigs kits I bought for $12.50. I haven't done anything with them, yet. But, they are complete. One weird thing is the randomly selected juice that's included is 32mg. It's way stronger than anything I've vaped and certainly not the best thing for a new vaper to be using. I recommended the kit to a non-vaping friend and she also received 32mg. I'm busy teaching her the tricks of cutting it with VG/PG base. It's currently more info than she wants to absorb.

You have to bear in mind that by the time the closing sale went to 50% off there were next to no liquids left. And what was left was in the remaining nic levels no one wanted. Thus: 32 mg liquids included with starter kits. Or maybe 6 mg.

mine shows as invalid :(

I don't get that. After you completed the ticket at PS did you ever receive an e-mail confirmation containing a link to track the ticket? Is that e-mail link what is routing you to an "invalid" ticket back at the PS site?

If that is all true, open another ticket - like three days ago - and report back to us if the new ticket is valid.

Kj,

Sorry for the grammar and spelling errors...LOL

It just sets me off the way "they" closed and the stories we are hearing about people not getting their stuff, while he has gone on to other money making ventures....

BTW: Do you know who Foamy is? :vapor:

Excuse my stupidity but how can one open a ticket on a company who' website no longer exists?

Did I miss something

It was still accessible yesterday. It had been closed immediately after stock was sold out, but then reopened after complaints about not being able to access tracking info.

Lemme go check. http://www.puresmoker.com/ Click!

Yep - still there so you can access accounts, ticket & tracking info etc.

I had no problems with my order. Got the package in a timely manner and everything was there. The huge problem now is that I LOVE thier juice. I bought 6 bottles and wish I would have bought more. Peanut butter cup is wonderful as is the Karma butterscotch. So far they are the best liquid that I have ordered online. I will be ordering from thier new place just as soon as they start mail orders. Also if anyone knows or hears of where thier mixoligist lends up, please share the info.

Hope I'm not double posting. Seems my posts, or some of them, aren't showing up here for me. Don't know if they are being deleted or not, but I received an e-mail on the 23d from PS.

""Hello Paul,
Apologies for the mistake on your order. I'll get the springs shipping to you today."

So, should be showing up today or tomorrow if it was shipped.

Take a look at their VolVapor site on Facebook, they have a picture of their juice menu. I sent a PM asking if the "Pyro" is the same as the PS "Firecracker" and if they are doing mailorder - No response yet, but I'll post if I hear back. there is a website at www.volvapor.com but it just has a maintenance message and points you back at their Facebook page.
