Hi All. Does anyone have a link to a good USB adapter so my PT can be powered properly in the car? I recently bought a 1000ma adapter and it powered the PT I would say good at best, and it broke after 1 weeks use.

Just looking for suggestions and if anyone has had any better luck than myself.

On a different note, I just wanted to add I had sent in my Prodigy V1 for an issue, and the great people at Puresmoker got my device fixed and back to me within the same week. A+++++ for Puresmoker and I thought I would just let everyone know.

I know I have seen a link to one that works well but I can't seem to find it right now. What I use is a Kensington power pack. I plug in the charging cable to my cigarette lighter and then plug the PT to the power pack.

If you search you might find the thread that has a link to a cigarette lighter adapter that is strong enough.

I can't post a link yet but Amazon has one rated at 2000mA. Google the following exactly (cut and paste)

High Power USB Cigarette Light Adapter Car Charger

Just dumb luck, but I purchased a RoadPro RK175UB DC->AC power inverter with one USB port. The AC plug is rated for 175w and protected by a 20a/32v fuse. The USB port is rated at 140w and I'm not sure but I think it must be protected with a thermocoupler so you can vape away until you melt it down. 140w@5vdc is more than you need. But anyway....

It works great! I bought it at a pilot station, paid too much for it, but had to have it right then and there. It's sold all over the web and in lots of retail stores. I don't regret getting this gadget at all. That rarely happens to me with rash decisions.

140W USB? That would be 28 Amps (28,000 mA)....Sorry, but I find that extremely hard to swallow. Can you tell us where that information came from? Is it printed on the device somewhere? I am glad it works well for you, but 14W (2800 mA) would be a lot more realistic.
