Times have changed. Having a telephone number, particularly a toll-free number, once said something about a business. But that was before the advent of voicemail, phone trees, texting, email and the internet. Today, anyone can get a phone line at little or no cost. So if you don't have the people to handle a phone, why bother. Who likes answering machines and voicemail? Thanks to voicemail I spend more time playing telephone tag then talking to real people. E-mail! Give me e-mail, I say! What other method provides you with an exact copy of your entire conversation with a vendor? Can you legally record your telephone calls. NOT! :2c:
