Hello - I am fairly new at this vaping. I have a smokers 51 and have tried it. I like the flavor etc but it is hard for me to get a hit - when I have used it a lot my jaw actually gets sore! I know that there are push button e cigs that warm up the atomizer before you hit but is there an e cig that delivers a hit by pushing a button? I have searched and searched but I am not sure of the terminology etc...I prefer the cartdriges and not liquid. Thanks for any help!

Kwinkle... All manuals use a button that you push. It doesn't just warm up the atomizer... You hold the Button down as long as you're dragging and recieve vapor the whole time it's pushed down. A 510 manual would be your best bet. You can still use pre-filled cartriges with a manual, or cartomizers if you want. Hope this helped

[Edit] You are going to HAVE to drag from all e-cigs no matter what. If there is no airflow, there is no vapor. From your post it sounded like you do not want to have to drag in order to recieve the vapor, that is not an option with current technology. I apologize if I misunderstood your post.

You can keep cartirdges but fill them yourself - its SO much cheaper and theres way more variety - also easier to control how much or how little nic you're using :)
Go look at The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum - there are many helpful posts there - especially http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html which shows you many types of ecigs with pics!

Come back after you've read it with any more questions and we will try to help.

Edit: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...buying-using-electronic-cigarette-primer.html Another good read!

Kwinkle.

Is your smoke 51 a 2 piece or a 3 piece? If it is a 2 piece (battery and cartomizers), then test the battery by gently inhaling on the battery without a cartomizer on it (keep your tongue off the center piece, it is only 3.7 volts, but you will feel it if your tongue touches it.

You should be able to turn on the end light with just a VERY small inhale. If you have to “suck” hard then you have a bad switch in the battery and should send it back for a replacement.

If the battery “checks out” ok then try just inhaling the carto. These should be almost like sucking on an empty straw.

With some of my Smoke 51 cartos I need to back them off just a little bit after I screw them on to make them draw easy.

Please let me know what you find. There is not a lot of help here with smoke 51. Most will tell you to return it and buy something else. I have had mine for a bit and still like it a lot.

If you like the 51 you can get parts for it much cheaper then buying them from Smoke51. Check out Electronic Cigarette, E Cig, Smokeless, E Cigarette, LeCig, . Your smoke 51 2 piece is a KR808D-2 type of e-cig.

Hello,
For me, After I let go of the button on my Ego I still inhale a little, due to the atty still is vaporizing the juice...Of course, I want to get all the vapor for my money....and it is how I learned to do it here....It works for me....
Take care and Enjoy...

Ditto. Letting go of the button while still drawing is a little easier on the throat, probably saves on atomizers and batteries, and produces the same amount of vapor

I bought a five pack of 510 auto white batts and killed the first one when attempting to recharge it. I think I got liquid leakage from the carto into the hole of the battery and it must have gotten into the internals and heated up the charger and battery something fearce. the battery was leaking from the LED area onto my desk and stunk really bad.

I since started using manual batteries with the closed hole and just wipe them with a q-tip before each charge (to avoid getting liquid in the charger). I couldn't be happier with the manuals, but when trying to "sell" the idea of vaping to friends, they are easily turned off by the button.

I found my goto suppliers in the vendors section of the main forum index. There are some really great vendors that will bend over backwards to win your loyalty!
