That explains it. The only adapter that can give 2 amps is the one for the Ipad. This also include the cigarette lighter adapter for vaping in the car. I did some surfing and found out there are adapter with dual ports one for 0.5 amp devices and a 2 amps for more power hungry things like a tablet pc. A visit to funan or sim lim will yield results.

think is called Molybdenum Wire.
