I'm having a stupid moment, I looked into this before and found a 'thing' to do it but now I can't remember or find this thing. I need to sharpen a point onto the end of multiple screws. I know I could rig em into my lathe if I need to but I remember finding a thing that would let me do it fast and in my infinite wisdom, I didn't write it down or save it.

Anyone have a tip for my tip? ;)

Or a bench grinder and a electric drill, but a file will do the same thing, just might take an extra minute per screw. I used my grinder to make points on a couple bolts for a set of custom chuck jaws I made for my wood lathe, took all of 30 seconds per screw lol. My bench grinder went south recently (circa 1975) so I just zip tie my angle grinder on a railing on my back deck :D

How Precise does the Point need to be in relation to the Screw Axis of Rotation? What type of Angularity call-out do you need?
