WOW, Where has this been. I just found this thread. I think you got buried. I hope they can get you up top somewhere!

If you use electronic cigarettes as your primary nicotine delivery system, Do you think you are now more or less addicted to nicotine?
more
less
roughly the same

Make an option of: I think I was addicted to other chemicals in cigarettes more than the nicotine.

This is a super idea, will make for a LOT of interesting reading for the "curious" among us, especially someone thinking of making an "alternative" solution to smoking. Like me, at the end of my smoking rope! Will this all be then tied directly to the ECF, since all of the polling that has been done here is extensively covered in Threads/postings. The "interaction" of folks can be extremely helpful in making decisions (well...most of it!) Sometimes it's confrontational but mostly it is very give and take and informational.
This ECF world just keeps moving forward at high speed, I would classify it as exceptional in the Blog/Chat circuits. (Although, I have never been part of any other chat site, mind you.) I have always regarded Blogs as a group as something I wouldn't want to waste time with. But I do "spend" a lot of time on this one! A Good investment, I must say.

Thanks for the interest peeps, the new survey is nearly ready and should be posted soon. I'm debating as to whether I should make a last minute decision and use a different survey creator which just recently launched and looks promising. not sure what you mean by 'tied to ecf' kate51. It will be like the last one which was posted to a number of international e-cig forums.

"If you consider that you have quit tobacco products using an electronic cigarette, How easy was it to do on a 1-10 scale?"

Would 1 = "Once I started using an electronic cigarette, liked it so much I didn't even want to smoke tobacco products again" (which would be my response, btw) and 10 = "I wanted to slaughter everyone in a 200 mile radius/crawl into a cave and die/hated my daily life while trying to quit using an electronic cigarette," (which would be my reply if this survey was about any of the other "NR" products) or would it be the other way around?

It's just a thought, but in the final version you might want to specify whether the ease of quitting on the 1-10 scale is ascending or descending if you haven't already.

A slippery slope. I would be hesitant to answer that question for fear that it would prompt the powers that be to place e-cigs back into the tobacco cessation device category. I don't want to start the FDA debates and bans again.
