Chagrin is my hero! We had a little downtown vape meet last night and he took home my iPro, managed to get the carto piece out. Hopefully he'll chime in with which tools were used. Next up, my other iPro.

You guys were right. What a weird problem that makes me worry about being so rough with boges on my ego. The threads - just the ring of threads were broken half way down the pv threads.

I didn't have loupes - I'm not quite that cool and I go with the ghetto flashlight in the mouth. I also wasn't at home, so I didn't have my dental picks, which are fantastic for some things, but not so much self dental work.
But I digress .. anyway, flashlight firmly in mouth I used my friend's drawing compass and *very* slowly unscrewed the piece. Of course as soon as I got that nasty bit out, I put on a LR carto that Oriana871 had just given me and inhaled the nastiest, burning taste I've tasted since vaping.

Yeah, I'll admit it, I feel way too accomplished for a pretty easy, albeit annoying fix. Hope Oriana871 doesn't mind me trying it out until I get it back to her - you know, just to make sure it's working well.

Oh, forgot to mention I didn't check the voltage and the LR didn't live long at ~5V.
