Thanks for all the suggestions. But like I said, I am not interested in purchasing a high end, expensive PV. Maybe further down the road if I get more into it, but I think anything near a 5V battery, and DEFINITELY in the price range that I'm looking at, which is $80 or under, is what I will end up buying.

The VMax looks interesting, will see how much that ends up costing when V2 comes out. The eGo-C Twist has my attention though... price is good, looks like all I will need is a battery. I'm feeling a little impatient, as I just ordered some Mrs. T juices and the new Stardusts in LR and SR, and would like to try them on a VV, but for now, I think my eGo and kGo will suffice. I'm keeping a look out though!

Hmmm you give pretty short shrift to all the VVs that aren't variable wattage and there are some good ones that aren't Provaris despite what the Provari fanboys say.

One question though I've seen an EVO and a 3VO and I'll be darned if I can tell the difference. Can you?

Kyi just to explain. The EVO and 3VOs are VV mods but, not your usual ones. You can choose between 4 fixed voltage settings. They aren't infinitely adjustable between the upper and lower end like most VVs.

Right now, I'm tempted to say hold off a bit before spending the money on a high end VV. There seem to be a lot of new things in that realm. The new 4 amp lavatubes look pretty promising. There's also a Provari knock off called the Vmax that appears to be a real power house. I'm a little concerned that that one will damage batteries cranked up but, it looks interesting. I'd wait for the V2 on that one though. It has some really weird drawbacks right now.

Well, I thought the post was long enough and didn't want to write a dissertation, lol. Not to mention that I think that regulating power from a wattage standpoint is better. I like the simplisity of the EVO and the fact that it does not have the limitations of the current lavatube. It will be interesting to see how well the Vmax holds up and vapes. The price is pretty good on the Chinese site I looked at.

The EVO is $75 I believe and sounds like it would fit your criteria.

I haven't read through the whole thread so I don't know if this as been suggested. CCV is now selling the "Larva Tube". It sounds like it would fit your needs nicely. If I were in the market for one.. this is where I'd get it.. this is a vendor I trust. :)

(It's basically a "lava" tube LOL.. I Love his play on words!) :D

I'm in the same position. I want to upgrade because I'm vaping more now that I have a KGO. It seems with better equipment I am vaping more and more. Lots of suggestions here. I think something that doesn't get addressed a lot it size though. I want something better than my KGO but don't want anything that is larger. I am ok with the weight and length currently but feel I'm not getting as good of a vape on a lot of the juices that I should.

I have 4 KGOs and love them, but just today got an Ego Twist. All I can say is WOW! I got the 1000mah in stainless, it's taller than the KGO but not quite as fat. Insignifacant size difference to me. But being able to dial around different voltages...now that rocks! Ot makes a huge difference in the flavor, in the whole darn vape, really. Now I get what all the hype is about with the v.v. And you absolutely cannot beat the price for a vv device. For less than $50 I got the twist, the charger cable and a cone(plus a couple other things for my epower) And don't do what I did and forget the wall part of the charger! Really cant recommend this thing enough for getting your toes wet in the vv world.
