Any place that says that are odorless is a bs place that lies to market their product. They are only odorless if you use flavorless liquid. In fact the aroma is a very important part of the perceived flavor since the human tongue can only taste sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami (MSG). That said - some flavored juices do smell a LOT and some smell a little. I can't vape Desert Ship tobacco juice at the office or in the car - it is strong, nutty and a bit pungent and bothers people. At work I vape vanilla and a dark dark cocoa tobacco which mostly smells like cocoa (Vapor4Life WOWbacco).

She may not mind. The tobacco flavored liquids don't normally taste or smell like a burning cigarette. It's just very hard to reproduce; I don't know of any company that has managed to pull that off; perhaps someone else does. In my experience, they smell a lot more like curing tobacco like my grandfather used to grow, which isn't all that unpleasant. The closest thing I can think to this is that smell you pick up when you take a whiff of a freshly-opened pack of old-school cigs. Not at all unpleasant.

The tobacco flavors really seem to linger a lot less than some others. Vanilla, , sweet, cinnamon and some citrus flavors are the ones that I can smell lingering for quite some time. My wife rarely mentioned the smell of cigarette smoke, even though she hated it. She has mentioned a couple of time how the garage smells like "cotton candy," though.

I was vaping some Melon/Blackberry mix at my desk yesterday and one of the guys came into the office and asked where am I hiding the cotton candy! I asked my wife today if she could smell anything unusual when I vape and she said "yeah, very faint - like cotton candy right now...its nice!" Later she said that my root beer vape smelled like cream soda. So it definitely is NOT odorless.

For the first few weeks at work, I kept asking my co-workers if they smelled anything because I did not want to introduce/impose anything into our work area which they might not want. For the most part they said no, unless they walked right by me, or into one of the smaller rooms I may have been vaping in...

Sometimes one co-worker and I are sitting in a 8x10 office and he says he has to deliberately try to pick out the smell as I exhale straight up.

During that time, I was vaping [PG] : RY4, USA, Coffee, Spearmint or some mix thereof.
Recently however, I started mixing/diluting about 15-20% [VG], and last time I asked, he said the smell carried further.

In any case, i've been told the smell does not linger more than a few moments unlike cigarette smoke. Our main work area is some 2000+ sqft with very little air-flow (no-windows that open)

I see PVs marketed everywhere as odorless, but my girlfriend does smell something sweet.
Am I just doing it wrong or does the vapor actually smell something?

I was vaping 555, and got accused of having popcorn in the office.
If I increase the flavouring, the "nutty smell" can be picked up.
