I am having a hard time finding a combo I like and need some assistance. I was re building my own coils but moved to Hawaii and it was more economical and easier to start with salts. I got a nord with .4 mesh coils at 25 watts using 50/50 5% salts and was happy. Until I ran out and in a pinch a buddy gave me his Pyne pod boost!! It’s sooo good and satisfying. But I can’t get them in Hawaii and honestly for the price will stick with pods. But I can’t figure out the right coil, power, juice combo. Today I got some rpm .8 coils and ran at the recommended 16 watts and it didn’t work. I had to boost it to 25 wats to get the satisfaction. I’m using hidrip 50mg juice. Can anyone help me with the proper coil size and wattage to match the flavor and satisfaction of a pin pod boost using a nord4?

Most of the time, coils will give a recommended range of wattage, which it is okay to go under, but going over it risks burning out the coil. The rpm 0.8 ohm only gives the 16 watt recommendation. If you are getting good flavor at a higher wattage, then I'd say go for it. However, if you find that the coil burns out too quickly, then I'd recommend selecting a lower resistance coil than the 0.8 ohm
