Q for people familiar with David Yang and his 801 Manual

I have e mailed him a couple times but have gotten no response so tried again today but maybe some of you folks can answer a few questions for me. I want the 801 Manual he has. Can I buy the manual switch component and attach it to any 801 atomizer or any 801 battery or do I need to purchase his manual switch battery. I guess more of what I am confused about is that is this a stand alone unit or do you have to be tethered to your computer to use it? So if any of you have used this unit, I would love to hear what you think of it. Thanks

His manual switch only fits his batteries.

The kits contain one USB passthrough to be used at the computer and it has the battery box attached so you can also walk around with it (as long as the batt is charged, which charges through the USB port).

And it contains a stand alone battery to go with the manual switch.

So if any of you have used this unit, I would love to hear what you think of it. Thanks

Thanks, but David Yang has everything I need to purchase in one fell swoop and it is quite a bit cheaper since I will be purchasing over 200 then there is no shipping. I would feel kind of funny asking him all the questions then purchasing from someone else.

I see what you are saying but keep in mind that Kevin is the US distributor for David (although he obviously doesn't carry all that David does). So he probably wouldn't mind answering your questions. Just an FYI.

I will say this as a member here and past customer of Daves and Supplier...David is great guy to work with and is always fair...He did make a mistake or two with my order but in the long run I ended up getting more than I payed for..When the mistake was realised, he didnt hit me a load of BS..He just apologised and corrected the mistake and gave me 5 free bottles of juice...It was a rather large order also...He also is almost always available on SKYPE. His prices are the best around

The answers you seek are plain as day on the eastmall website. Read the descriptions of the manual batts, atoms, and switches.

Yes you do need to purchase his manual switch battery-
to go with the switch......

this model is a specialized unit,
special usb battery -- and switch --
the switch activates power from the special usb battery to the atty,

but regular 801 attys will fit to the switch.

What I don't understand is that if it isn't connected to a power source like computer or wall charger, you will be able to use it but you have to carry the whole set up? Or does it come with a separate battery? Still confused but I went and ordered it.
I can't wait to try it.

This USB passthrough has an inline battery box which if charged (through your USB port) yes, can allow you to walk around with the passthrough.

You will also get a stand alone battery to use with the switches.

It will become crystal clear once you have it in your hand.

I purchased this unit from David and I really like it, with the exception of the fact that I didn't get the pass through. I have also e-mailed David a couple of times and have received no response. Hopefully, the move he mentioned explains this, but I got mine a couple of weeks ago and still nothing.

I do like the device and use it pretty exclusively at this point. I'm just glad I ordered the extra battery or I'd be even more frustrated. I do wish I had one more since I didn't get the USB passthrough. The batteries are special and you have to use the ones provided and can purchase extras (as I did). I honestly don't know anything about the passthrough since I haven't received it.

It puts out a good amount of vapor and my attys seem to be lasting longer. I can drip or use a cart and both seem to work fine. Use the cart when I will be away longer and drip when I'm sitting at my desk or something.

Thanks everyone. I assumed the same that once I had it in hand I would figure it all out so I just went ahead and ordered. I am excited to get it because I bouight the 510 manual which was my first experience with the manual and love it but hate the constant topping off.
