I've just switch from atty's to carts. I love them. I got very tired of att.s leaking, constantly dripping, and the inconsistency. These things are great, convenient and cheap.
I'm using boge LR 510 on my ego.
How long approx. can I expect to get out of one? Oh I should say my method of vaping. It's heavy but I alternate between two carts. so as not to over heat. And I am very aware of not letting them dry out.
Will standard 510 atts last longer and do they produce as much vapor?
Thank-you

Oh yes, I meant cartomizers. How long with that vaping style will they last before they are no good and have to replace (stop working)
I hope you see this and respond as I didn't catch reply last nite.
Thanks (remember LR)

Some Cartomizers will last for 6 or 7 refills before the vapor production, and the taste, starts to fall off. I have cartomizers that have been refilled 30 times or more. But their vapor isn't as good as when they are new.

My rule of thumb--4-6 ml of juice is all a good cartomizer can handle. After that, the gunk accumulates on the atty and taste, performance and vapor pruduction go south. The dark-colored, sweet, oily juices will gunk the carto up much faster than the clear, light ones. YMMV, but all cartos are disposable. I chuck them as soon as the taste begins to change.

I love the LR cartomizers and can't stand the regular ones. It's like the difference between full flavor and ulta lights. I will never buy regular cartomizers again. For me it really depends on what I am vaping in them. I am a very heavy vapor and I go through a lot of juice and I have dark and light juices that I use. I would say that on average I go through a five pack about once a month. I have heard that you can clean them and get a little more life, but I have never bothered. I am back using atties right now because I am at home most of the time, so I'm dripping again. When I'm out and about a lot I love the Lr Cartomizers.

man, I am really liking these boge carto's so far. So hassel free. In evening I fill 5 up using condom method and will last me all next day with good vapor. 2 have stopped working now on 6th day. Remember they're LR. I odered standard from litecigusa today. Hope I don't feel like you with the reg. ones but want more time out of them. I guess I will need to start figuring ml. usage to really calculate how much usage I get before goes bad. But still price is so good.
Stownz said burn off gunk. Do you mean like how with atty's you can dry burn them. See I am kind of lost with carto's. Do you treat them the same as atty's?

I'm not sure what he meant, but DO NOT try to dry burn your cartos, ever! You'll incinerate the wick and the filler inside in an instant.

And don't worry, you'll figure it all out. Just takes a little practice. In no time you'll know when it's time to grab a new carto. Some people clean them, and that's fine, too. I don't, because I feel that they never work quite as well as the fresh one, but you can give it a try. There are videos on Youtube showing different techniques. If you're in a pinch, just give them a good soak in PGA or vodka (or white vinegar), rinse, dry well and reuse.

Good luck!

Of course Katya is referring to the filler style cartos regarding the dry burning. Yeah, not a good idea for sure.

If you ever try the Ceramic type Carto's (commonly referred to as CE2's) then that's a different story. These things are built for dry burning. In fact the older models required it before use, lol.

CE2's give great taste, but can be a Royal Pain to get them working right. There is plenty of info in this section of the forum on CE2's, they're not for everyone, but they work for me. :)
