As stated-

I bought a kanger t2 starter kit and an pretty happy with it so far.... BUT, I tried my friends provari and vision twist. Now I realize I really want variable voltage but I'm perfectly happy with the t2 setup. Cheap to maintain and vapes well for me.

ANYWAY- my t2 isn't threaded to work with either of those batteries so how can I make it work?

Someone suggested to me an ego to 510 adapter but thus thing doesn't fit on an ego battery..

T2 should fit any ego threaded battery. With a 510-ego adapter, it'll fit a 510 device.

A twist should have both threads.

I've used Kanger ego clearos on everything in my box. To use it on a Lavatube (mine is 510 only) you need the adapter.

I just bought another one, 1 hour ago, because the eVic sometimes doesn't like kanger ego clearos.....

I'm pretty sure a T2 would work with a Vision spinner battery. I have a T2 and it threads right on to my eGo battery. Vision/eGo threading is the same.

If I'm mistaken someone will be along shortly to correct me.

The Kanger t2 and not a knockoff t2? The spinner was definitely the one I was thinking about getting. I can't afford the Ferrari.. Err.. Provari right this minute.

Thank you both for your feedback. Guess I can just try it on the vision spinner in the store.

Welcome to ECF , and you might want to look at some of the other devices out there . Provari is not the only one , and it's only VV . Look at the Vamo's , or Sigelei Z-max's , they are a lot cheaper than a Provari , and have VV , as well as VW . And use a 501 to Ego adapter for anything using 510 threading . The T2 is a top coil device . You may even like the Evod , or T3 , even more . Have fun .

Buy an eGo Twist - Kanger is proprietary to the Twist - that's my setup. Still loving my T2's after so long. So quick easy and satisfactory.

Awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. A weirdo like me who enjoys the t2. I agree.. One of the easiest to deal with I've seen and very cheap to maintain.

I'm sure I'll upgrade at some point but for now my entry level t2 kit is awesome. Nothing like the nasty ecigs from years back. Probably get a basic carto and tank setup for home use one day.. But I quit smoking to save money and not my health :p

Also wonderful info. What does variable wattage give me that variable voltage doesn't? I'd be glad to read a link if there is a thread I've missed.

I'm trying to memorize the whole site and I'm only about 10% done so far. If I can learn android devving I can learn vape tech. :p

So glad there are 4-5 stores in my town so I can touch things before buying :D

I've definitely learned quite a bit in a short time, mostly thanks to ECF.

Yea! Glad I could offer something. I have a VAMO, an eGo 18650 and a Vapage squonker thingie, Guess what.....Haven't even tried them out yet because just filling up my Kanger T2's and cranking up/down the eGo Twist - is about as easy as it gets for me. Love my T2's, didn't love the T3's and not into the newer glass tanks, because my Twist does tip over onto the table a lot, (because I'm ham fisted) and I swear I'd break a glass Kanger within a day. I vape 100% VG get lots of vapor, lots of flavor. What's not to love. :)

Again.. I'm definitely learning. First juice I tried made me gag like crazy. Was a Marlboro clone and tasted kind of like a dirty wet t-shirt. It was 80% pg / 20%vg. Found a vape store locally that mixes any recipe you want and I found (for me) I need at least a 50/50 mix. Haven't tried straight VG yet, but since I've stopped supporting big tobacco, I'm kind if thinking since pg is a petroleum product I must be supporting big oil.. Is that correct thinking? Lol

LOL - well PG is in about everything so that might be a tad difficult!

Here's an interesting clip about PG.
Propylene Glycol: What's the Deal? - eCig 101
There are some glorious e-juices about. Just run around the forum a bit, and you'll see a bunch mentioned.

If it does NOT fit an Ego it is NOT a Kanger T2 period.

Buy an eGo Twist - Kanger is proprietary to the Twist - that's my setup. Still loving my T2's after so long. So quick easy and satisfactory.

Kanger is NOT proprietary to the TWIST T2 is an Ego Thread only Device though.
T2, T3, T3-mini, MT3, T3S, MT3S, EVOD are ALL Ego threading
T4, T5 and Protank are ALL 510 Threading

I appreciate the clarification. I'm going to keep my "proprietary" t2 setup for a backup. But i am VERY disappointed with the brick and mortar shop that PUSHED this device on me. Wouldn't let me TRY anything in the store (buncha neckbeards...) Because ANY setup they had was too "over my head". Felt like i was in an apple store :p

Is there a good place here to talk about experiences with particular vendors?

There are MANY here in Cape Coral, Fl. I just want to give kudos to the store that treated me right an warn locals not to go in the other place. Not gonna mention names until i know what's cool on these boards.

OK. I found it :D

So just an FYI- DON'T BUY THIS KIT.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vHpDerUEWA&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I'm going to blame the salesman and not the company since obviously in the video it is stated that the threading is proprietary and it's NOT a real t2. Since the video was made by the same company i have to assume jerky salesman. The only criticism of the company is the hard sell in the store. Not cool.
