I wasn't happy with my first 901 atomizers I got from TW. Of course that was before I learned how to clean them once in a while. But my wife will be using the 901 and she hates the devil logo.

So I ordered 901 attys from another site. I got them and their logo was "Mini Electonic Cigarette".

These were some real crap. Had one or two clogged and tried to blow them out to no avail. Paint comming off. Filler sticks to bridge heating element.

I could live with all problems other than the filler sticking problem. Could someone please recommand a brand and/or source of getting attys (not TW) where the filler won't stick to the atty?

I don't l like being closed minded. But I don't want to spend any more time working on 901 attys out-of-the box just to get them to function. So I'm not really open to suggestions that would cause me to have to do this :)

Thanks,
:Dave W.

TW and The Electonic Cigarete Company carry RN4075's ( basically owned by same people as my understanding). They are low bridge 901 compatible and tend to run a bit hotter than true 901's, different carts also with a squished O shape where true 901 carts are a D shape with air vent on the side.
True 901's have a high bridge, a bit more cooler and are stamped SLB and have a serial Number stamped on battery and atomizer where they connect.
Several places carry them,...... goodprophets.com, myvaporstore.com and e-smokeytreats.com ( I have purchased from these 3 so know for a fact they are SLB true 901's) Hope this helps.

I bought my DSE-901 (legit, SLB stamped) from RuyanDirect.com b/c they have the 901 atomizers & batteries in plain stainless steel (no markings or paint) I like the stainless steel finish, its not too shiny or too dull. I think it's pretty classy. I like ordering from RuyanDirect (aka Heaven Gifts) b/c they have the best prices and quality equipment. The only downside can be shipping (as they are on the other side of the globe). I would recommend you order a few extra pieces to bulk up your order to reduce your overall shipping expense. The best part about Heaven Gifts is that they offer a one year warranty on most of their products (yes, including DSE901 batts & atty's). A little over a month ago I ordered close to a dozen 901 atomizers. 2 of the 12 died within the first two weeks. I sent Wayne an e-mail and it was no problem at all. 2 extra atomizers will be included free of charge in my next order & he'll ship that order even if he hasn't yet received my dead atomizers that I'm sending back. So don't let the funny language fool you, these guys know quality customer service. I'm sorry if I sound like paid sponsor b/c I am not. I've spent plenty of money with these guys and I am just one satisfied customer.

As far as the filler goes, I usually shape the filler of the cart, especially if its a brand new blank cartridge that I'm about to fill up. I don't do much to it, I just for around the edges and push it down a little (using a toothpick or something that affect) I push down a little in the middle to, but not much (for that I use a more blunt edge, like a folded twisty tie, a toothpick in the middle may snag fibers). i try to make sure there aren't any loose fibers out of place or protruding from the main mass of fiber. Aside from first use, I rarely ever have to reshape the filler during the course of it's life. when done shaping it the filler is just slightly below the top of the cartridge. I never get a burning taste unless I'm running low on juice.

Thanks wench :)

I checked, and I do have RN4075 carts from TW. I've been plugging them into true 901 atty's. Seems like I'm experiencing the problems everyone else has had. I will quickly remedy the situation--true 901 everythin.

I had that problem my self, I have bought also from TW , so I had RN4075 and true 901 stuff and found out real quick to only use the D shaped true 901 carts on the SLB atty's. I'd pull the cart off and the filler would stay, even though everything was trimed-properly done. Also they were bad about juice in the mouth yuck. The true 901 carts work on the 4075's but not the other way around.

You could not have described it any better :)
