Another you could try is the 2.5 dual coils. I have one sitting here that I have not broken into yet. It is bigger around than the dcs or the boges, which should be no problem at all on a box mod.

Damn, I wish I had some of my favorite juice around here. I need to order some, and was saving it for when I get more. Oh well, it seems I should try it out and report back to you all.

I know that Cigarman should have them on his site, that is where I got mine (the 2.5 dual coils)

OK, give me an hour and I will report back. I will try it on a 5v and my vv.

Krispers, you D man!

Ok, some more info on the 2.5 dual coil.

I got exactly 93 drops and lost one drop out of the bottom. I did not have to wait to let it soak. It took the juice very nicely. (KBV RY4 at 70%PG)

I tried it on both my 5v box mod (pictured with a xl dual coil carto) and my VV box (pictured with the green splash decals)

You can see its a little longer than an xl dual coil, and you may be able to see it is wider in diameter. I hope so, since it took 93 drops to fill this bad boy up. I got it from smoktek.com. There may be only one 2.5 dual coil but you can PM Cigarman if you want to verify that they dont make regular, and xl ones.

So, I will vape this for a few days to make sure it does not scortch the juice.

Right now I have it turned up to about 6v on my vv box, and its sizzling away. It seemed at 5v it needed a little more oomph.

I read somewhere that the 2.5's were designed for high voltage vaping in the neighborhood of 6 volts. The vapor is good and warm, but you dont notice the warmth until the second drag, and this could be due to the longer soft rubber whistle tip. I wish they came with condoms, but I guess if it holds 93 drops that could be a days worth right there, so I probably would not need to travel with a spare filled carto.

The flavor seems true to what I would get from a boge, or a dual coil at 1.6 ohms at lower voltages.

Hope the review helps.

Its the extra diameter that does it. Its not much longer at all, but much beefier in thickness. The air hole is the same size. I wonder if someone sells a drip tip for these. It almost looks like an 801 drip tip would fit in this, but I dont have one to try out, nor do I have an 801 laying around any more.

It does look bigger but not a whole lot but 93 drops, I'm impressed. :)

God, I love those things. The one by my house closed not long after the Krispy Kreme building boom. And they just arent the same at the grocery store. I like the gooey, melty, hot doughnut, and love the fact that they handed out free ones in line. Dang I could live off of them. Can we just eat you Krispers? :D

Krispers everytime I see you, I think of Krispy Kreme. Wonder why.

I'm glad you finally cracked that carto open Steve! 801 tips work great on the XXL carto's - I have those.

Somehow I messed up my last order though so I'm out of the 2.5 XXL but just got the 2.5Ω XL (45mm) duals in (stainless and black), also the 2.5Ω XXXL jumbo clear duals. (and a bunch of others). I'll have them all posted today. :)

Hey guys, I still don't get the DC ohm stuff. Never was all that interested in them I guess, but I have two here that I got from somewhere and they measure 1.5Ω. What voltage are they good to use on? Maybe to help me figure that out, when attached to a pv, what is the pv seeing, 1.5 or 3.0Ω?:confused:

Its the batteries that have issues with the voltage, not the PV

Your 1.5 dual coils rock on 3.7 volts. I personally dont need to use them at any higher voltage.

Ok, so the one I received in the picture is an XXK 2.5 dual cartos, but Rob is out right now, but he has XL ones, and XXL ones. Ok, thats a little confusing, but this thing rocks so far...

To answer the last question, the PV see's total resistance, so 1.5Ω is it. As Steve said, I'm out of the 2.5Ω XXL's, but do have the 1.5Ω XXL's in stock, which are great on 3.7v devices :)
