I saved every last one of them. We experienced today why they call it fishing, and not catching

But it was better than working

Tomorrow I am taking the family to see the Giants play the Reds. Got tickets for free from AT&T and get to sit in the second row right next to the Giants dugout. We were told to bring autograph material,and to get there early. I guess it is "the spot" to get Autographs. Since it is AT&T park they retain certain seats to smooze customers. Its nice to be on the smoozed end of things once in a while. So, if anybody wants a box mod shipped on Saturday (or at least a chance of it) box mods need to be ordered today. I will make a trip to the PO before going to the ballgame tomorrow.

If you have the 5v and hold a draw long enough to cycle through the colors, I should be able to see the cloud of vapor from my house. ;-)

The light did turn green -- I kept myself busy going over the information that was included -- very good stuff in there. I actually ended up needing some info (more on that to come).

Once my battery was charged I popped it on with a carto I'd been using on my eGo. I could taste the difference in the flavor right away .. this was a chocolate/minty menthol juice, and for the first time my sinuses cleared from the menthol.. it was great. The chocolate really had a chance to sing too.

But I wanted to try more so I grabbed the Boge you included, and filled it up. Battery wouldn't fire, so I used the tip from the booklet and adjusted that center thing. Well.... I adjusted it wayyyy too much and tangled the innards of the carto -- completely clogged the airflow. And the best part is, I didn't discover it until AFTER I tried to vape it. So I spent a little time loosening the guts of the carto to see if I could save it. I got it to vaping again, but I think I blew the carto when I tried to vape it clogged.

Move on to LR DC cartos, got it filled and vaping. Had the same contact issue and freaked out for about .02 seconds, but carefully and very lightly made the adjustment, and it vapes well. I'm not thrilled with how this juice is tasting at the moment, could be the juice, could be the carto.

The device is performing very well though, despite the fact that I feel like a complete newb all over again. I'm back to my first carto and loving it. The Boges are really loud -- forgot I've been using a cone all this time. The DCs are a lot quieter. Wonder if there's anyway to take that down just a tad... hmm..

I really want to try out a bunch of flavors now -- and i have a TON of new stuff in .. if only I weren't so uptight about steeping...


OH and I almost forgot -- love the signature. Was a nice touch when I opened up the box.

All in all, top notch product and customer service, lightning fast shipping, and overall a great experience!

Hey Adeline, sorry you had trouble with the carto. Those dual coils should treat you well. I like to let them sit for about 10 minutes after filling them, just to give them a chance to get saturated (not a bad idea with boges on the first fill either but I can never seem to wait)

Try slipping your ego cone over the bog carto and just let it sit there if you are trying to keep the people in the next cubicle from hearing it. part of it may be the slightly higher voltage than what you are used to. The other may be the hollow nature of the box acting like a speaker box, or sound amplifier. I personally dont mind it, because it lets me know its working well.

I about knocked myself out in the LED video trying to get my slow color changing LED to cycle thru. It must have been a 10 or 12 second draw. The fast color changing is probably the only one I will carry, since it has the same colors as the slow one.

I went with the 15 and dont regret it! (Note: They are out of stock atm haha sorry about that!)

EDIT #2: The Cartos from KBV do not have those brown mouth pieces on them which i'm actually happy about. Thought I would just point that out they have the regular white soft caps. The Cartos from AV come with black whistle tips and the white soft caps. The 2.5 ohms will be for my 5v mod. I currently use the 1.5 ohms for my 3.7v mod.

Just an update ordered the 2.5 ohm duals last night were shipped out this a.m. estimated for saturday delivery though om expecting them sooner as they shipped from ny state and I live in ny. Will keep you informed on my experience from this company. Avidvaper

I should be getting my KBV RY4 today, and I've got my 3.0Ω "sampling" atty out and at the ready to put on the 5v box to try out. Probably should find a 2.5 atty to use on my 3.7v for sampling, but for now I will have to use the 3.0 on the 3.7v's also. Have a good day all!

I just ordered 60 ml of the RY4 so I can actually let a bottle of it steep.

The 3 ohm at 3.7 is quite lackluster, just warning you. They are far better on the 5 volt mod.

Looking forward to the baseball game tonight. My wife loves Nascar but I have never been. I have to work on the weekends, so that never works well. Infineon speedway is not too far away but I only am allowed to take 2 Saturdays, and 2 Sundays per year off of work. Kinda sux in many ways. But at least I dont have to fight crowds during the week at places like Disneyland, which we try to hit once per year.

I have 2 orders to ship, and am done for the day. They are already built.

I just got in my 3.7v box mod with indigo blue LED! Steve shipped it incredibly fast, and it actually arrived a day before another package which I had ordered from Gourmet Vapor on the same day!

So far I am absolutely loving it! Seems to be built very sturdy... I look foward to putting it through its paces and seeing how it works with different atomizers as I have been accustomed using an Ego/Riva. I was also really impressed with the sample liquid he included with it from Kick Bass Vapor, which was a caramel cappucino! Very top notch stuff!

This is a similar reaction to those I get regularly with a standard ego, riva, or starter 510 user. I know, because I was one too when I got my first box mod. The box mod really opened up a new world for me very inexpensively. Sure I want a higher quality, more expensive mod, but I am satisfying my self with my box mods right now, and have not wanted to upgrade just yet. I have more important things to spend my money on. But I still want to get a provari, and a Reo eventually to round out my collection. But you can buy (5) 5 volt box mod complete kits for what it costs to get a provari up and running (no doubt a top quality device in its class of PVs) Not sure the cost of a Reo, but It cannot be too far off of that, including battery, and a charger. I have heard great things about both devices and would not hesitate buying either.

In my opinion, I can't see where the expensive mods would work any better than your mods. Maybe just a cool factor. Other than your 5v box, my only other mod is a GLV2 mini, and I like it. Does it work better than your 3.7 box, I doubt it. My next mod will be your 3.7 tube. By the way, I envy you living so close to Infinion Raceway, I would love to see that race in person. Love the road courses, and years ago we had Riverside Intl. Raceway.

Had an interesting experience at the Post office this morning. They asked me what was inside the box I was shipping, out of curiosity or friendliness (i know the lady from my job) I told her batteries, and a charger. She asked what kind of batteries, I told her lithium. Wrong answer! She pointed to a big poster, and lithium batteries are listed as hazardous. I told her that people recieved cell phones, and batteries all the time, in fact they are shipped to me all the time. She said, now that we know, we cannot ship it for you. So I told them I am I was going to a different post office to ship it. Pisses me off because it was the post office closest to my house. Thats what I get for being honest. From now on I will tell them I am shipping baby powder.
