Do unprotected batteries work in the 5V? I have a couple from another mod I tried in it and can not get them to work.

Ecf recommends protected batts but I have no idea why unprotected would not work. Did I ship you some batts? Do they work fine? If so, it must be the batteries themselves. There is nothing in the box that would keep it from working with unprotected batteries. Wierd.
Let me know

Steve,

I just wanted to report back after getting my 5V box last night. I must say it is definitely awesome!! I never knew how much different things could be on a 5V. All my juices taste completely different on the 5V than on my eGo (in a good way). I must say your customer service is fantastic. Great instructions, packaging and the product is top notch.

I took it to work with me this morning and already two co-workers want to order them. I am giving them your info and website link. I may have to come back and get a 3.7 box for myself. I am currently using Boge 3 ohm carts but I am waiting for a 2.5 ohm clear DC carto from AvidVapers to arrive later this week.

Thanks again.

Great report back and thank you so much. I have a few left in inventory so I will spend thurs and fri prebuilding more that will arrive tomorrow, so I should be all stocked up on black 3.7s and black or white 5 volts mods

Anxious to hear what your thoughts are on the 2.5 dual coils at 5v. One thing is for sure. You can't go wrong with a boge 3 ohm carto. And the price is right!

Tell ya what Steve, I'm still liking that 3.0 Boge! I'm huffing Desert Ship in that and I'm loving it on 5v. I have a bunch of new cartos in that are being tested now. So far I like the clear 2.5 snotomizer on the 5v box, as well as the the colossal stainless dual coils. Time will tell how they hold up. I'm still in favor of 1.25-1.5 duals on 3.7 and 2.5 duals on 5v. Attached are pics of the new cartos I picked up at Vapestock and one cool pic I took of a smokin' dually!
Listed in order left-right of far right pic; nHaler 2.5 clear dual, mega 510, colossal 2.0 dual, Ikenvape carto, nhaler jumbo cart, 2.5 clear dual unwrapped, don't know what the last one is but has a cool anti-spit whistle tip and runs 2.2 ohms.

I bought two of Nhaler's 510 Jumbo's but haven't tried yet. I will be waiting to see what you think. I'm curious about, @$3.00 apiece, how long it will last. Also, when it dies, what do you use on the end of it to spin the juice out into?

Seems to me that the boges are more economical but if I could get six enjoyable days pod the same juice for six days in a $3.00 Mack daddy carto, where the heck do I sign up. I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and get a few.

Thanks for taking the time to post those photos Stogieman :)

I got the 5v and 3Ω Boge on the 2d of last month I believe, at least that's the date I put on the carto, and I had to dump it just today. It lasted a good long time. It had fallen off, I realized after I had changed it, but until today it was still useable.

I used a Jumbo carto for a few weeks with a special cigar blend, it's starting to draw harder now and should be cleaned, but on the 5v box I think you'll like it. Do you have any GoGo condoms? I have used them to capture juice I spin out of the Jumbo's, kinda tricky but it worked. Let me know if you come up with other alternatives. They look cool on the 5v GodBox don't they?

I have bowling league tonight so I may be a little disconnected tonight but I am able to monitor the thread and PMs on my iPod touch thru wifi at the bowling alley. I have plenty of 5 volt white box mods, one black 5 volt box mod, a white 3.7 with pink LED and a black 3.7 with pink Led.

Any other device I will not take orders on until they are built. My stock will be here tomorrow and will offer those up on Friday. I am completely out of any additional white 3.7's until further notice. They are backordered.

Thanks everyone!

Godzilla,
I am looking to improve my vaping experience by trying 3.7v or 5v mods. Could you tell me the difference between these two? I am looking for decent vaping with good TH. With the current Riva which I've I am not completely satisfied. I guess this is not 3.7v and had to use LR cartos like Boge for decent vaping. If I opt for 3.7 or 5 I think regular 3 ohms cartos will be good. I am I right? I've only 1 Riva battery and wondering if it fits into any of these. Do I need your batteries as well? Considering my vaping which one do you suggest?

The riva battery is proprietary, and is a stand alone ecig. What is good about my 3.7 mod is that it is a true 3.7 volts (charges to nearly 4.2v) The batteries are inexpensive ($10 for two of them) plus you will need a charger too. My whole kit is $37 plus shipping.

The 5 volt may not be necessary just yet.

3ohm boge cartos would be used on the 5 volt box mod, and LR 2ohm cartos, or 1.5 dual coils are best on the 3.7.

Using 3 ohm cartos or attys on a 3.7 device is quite lack luster IMO.

shanewarne IMO I think 5V with the 3ohm cartos will be what you are looking for. I remember my 1st experience and I was blown away. Granted that was a year ago lot has changed since then with the new dual coils and other things but a Boge 3ohm @5V is still hard to beat sometimes :)
