Hey Steve , we want to see the scores posted LOL !! Have fun :)

I bowled above my average of 160 all 3 games but we still lost 3 out of 4 games. I bowled 204, 187 and 183. I am pretty sure that is my best series ever (game 4 is all points for 3 games added together). They do the 4 th game to discourage sandbagging. I love bowling night :)

Steve, I joked about reading the "book" that you send out with your mods, but I think it's fantastic, it's great for anyone new to mods, 'cuz you explain everything. I hate it when I get something and there's no instructions or explanations or anything.

Yet another reason to buy a Foxy Box .. instructions for newbies!

I'll be sending you an order soon!!! Must have more! Is the green light as bright as the bright ... blue?

It seems that the latest batch of green ones probably should be called bright ... green. Yes they are.
I did pick up your little joke about the "book' of instructions I sent.

I dont mind talking to my customers, and pm ing back and forth, but I found many questions repeated by many customers, so I decided to write that book. I think there are like 5 or 6 pages worth.

Thank you for your support!

Ya, make sure you keep that moist. That seems like a lot of watts, but have heard that the 2 coils keep the heat down, compared to a single coil 2.0 ohm like the Boge. Glad you found a sweet spot!

Steve

You're right about that Steve, the 2.0 dual spreads the heat over two 4 ohm coils and give better flavor and more vapor as a result.

can I take 5v mod and adjust it to 3.7v to see the difference? I mean is the voltage variable or fixed?

Now this is a great idea! Hey Steve, why couldn't you make it so a 5v box would deliver 3.7 if it sensed only one battery in it? Sounds simple, right? I want the patent on it! Or you can call it the RobBox

Just for anyones curiosity about Steves box mods. Both the 3.7V and the 5V. The mod boxes, that I got from Steve is so awesome, that I can't stop using them either. One word about durability though, on both mods. I dropped the 5V on the street as I was getting out of my car and it all came apart, BUT it DID NOT break at all. Not even a chip. Put it all back together and it is all good. Thank goodness Now that is durability. Matter of fact, I dropped that 5V twice on the concrete. And is still good as new. What a mod. The 3.7 survived the falls as well. Not a scratch on either one too. So if anyone is leary about getting one, DON'T be. It is the greatest built box mod I have ever had. You have quality, durability, great customer service, fast shipping and a great mod maker that cares about what he does and cares about the people that he services. Great job Steve, keep up the great work and God Bless you my friend.

Hugs,

I agree! These things are tough. My heart sank when I dropped mine on the tile floor and it just exploded! Part's went flying all directions, but upon re-assembly it worked fine and still keeps on rocking. You can't beat these for durability.

Oh yeah. I am a master of disaster, and I have dropped both foxy boxes about a dozen times. A quick reassembly and they're good to go.

The boxes do have a problem though. They are a bit persnickety if a questionable carto is used. This is probably a good thing; the box will shut itself down (actually, probably a function of the batteries) if a malfunctioning carto is attached to the connector.

Last night, I refilled (for the twelfth time) a standard 510 cartomizer. I knew even before attaching it to the box that there was going to be a problem; the carto was not drawing well, a bit cloggy. Sure enough, the Foxy Box shut itself down with the first attempt to fire it. Oddly, the carto worked fine on a fully charged Ego battery I had at hand. And, once the Ego had boiled off the clog, the carto worked fine on the Foxy Box.

I don't think this is a design flaw, rather I think it's extra protection for fragile batteries. Remember, these batteries are put through discharge cycles that are very deep, very current-intensive. That is to say, every time you press that button, the carto or atty draws an incredible amount of current from the battery. I mention all this, because you might jump to the logical conclusion that something is wrong with your box mod, when in fact it is probably a carto or atty problem, or less frequently, a malfunctioning battery.

Just my 2 puffs worth over coffee. Currently vaping a fairly disgusting Ry 4 prefilled carto, waiting for a juice delivery, at 5 volts. The vapor is huge, the nicotine high, but the taste....semi-yuck. Oh well, at least I'm not hoovering down an analog. <very happy!>

IMO, the warmth of the puff is dependent upon the resistance of the atomizer as much as the voltage. Remember, lower resistance + higher voltage = higher wattage.

I have both boxes, 3.7 and 5 volts. I use regular resistance cartomizers on the 5 volt, and either low-resistance or regular resistance cartomizers on the 3.7 volt. I think you get better TH, warmer vapor and more of it from the 5 volt box.

One nice thing about having both voltages available (2 boxes - less than fifty bucks) is that you can quickly switch between boxes to find the most pleasing vapor. Right now, I have both boxes at hand, and a fresh carto filled with Vapor Bomb's Pan d'Oro, a sweet cake vape. The difference between vaping experiences is quite noticeable. On the 3.7, I get more of the subtle cake flavors, the vanilla etc. On the 5 volt box, I get a much larger cloud, and the puff feels somehow "creamier." It's really hard to describe.

My first Foxy Box was the 5 volt; I already had a number of 3.3 - 3.7 volt devices. I ordered a 3.7 box later, simply because I love to do the side-by-side comparison, and because Steve builds such a fine product.

Here's what I would do. Buy the 3.7 volt box. Then, get some LR (low resistance) cartomizers or attys, and some regular resistance ones. An LR carto at 3.7 volts gives a very similar vape to a reg. resistance at 5 volts, so you get the best of both worlds.

use the master switch to somehow bypass the regulator and draw off one batt, HMMMMMMM interesting idea :)
