Doing well. My daughter learned to swim today 
Once she was comfortable swimming with her face down, she started shooting across the pool. I think the instructor was impressed. I can tell you one thing for sure. Daddy was sure proud

I think I am going to order a few variable voltage kits from madvapes and attempt a few next week We will see how they go.

Congrats on your daughter Steve, we were fortunate enough both boys grew up around water and swimming came natural and they never needed lessons.
I will be out in the great outdoors today until about 4pm pacific time with the family. I will check back in at that time. Any orders today will ship on Monday.

Think I'm out to endure the heat myself today Steve, find some water somewhere So we'll get a preview of the wooden tube soon? 18650s are my favorite batts and I got a bunch so I'm looking forward to that.

Looks like I will be coming up with a 5v Box Mod using (2) 18650 batts. I ordered 2 boxes with a switch, and 2 without, that will fit 2 of the 18650's plus the voltage reg and circuit board.
I also ordered some variable volt kits for the 5v box I have been making. More news on that later next week.
Next Sunday I will be building a prototype or two of the 3.7 wooden mods. At this point I dont think I am going to make it a variable volt. not just yet. 3.7 with one 18650 will be sufficient. If I try to shove too much in there, I will have to sacrifice with a larger size.

It came, my 5v came in two days! WOOT! I love it, thing hits like a beast. I know you say not to, but I'm loving it with my 2.0ohm smoketech cartos. Came with a big horn switch I meant to ask for, but I did not. It also came with a bright ... blue LED, not the green I asked for...but, you're not getting it back. I love it too much. Unless I got someone's by mistake, and they really, really hate green LEDs....
This thing will be awesome Steve. With 2x18650 aboard even 5v folks like me should get 2 to 4 days out of one set of batts. It will be like having a Tekk mod that won't fall apart and does not have all of the superfluous hoo haw. I am totally stoked that you are building these.
Oh poop! I am so sorry. I am very willing to swap those of you that may have gotten the wrong LED. Please just let me know.
About the 2.0 ohm cartos. I f you have a juice that stand up to that heat, go for it!
I'm fine with this led, You're not kidding about them being bright. I used it at a moonlight on my aquarium last night. :3 Thing is useful. :3
