Your juice supplier Copper Creek? I cannot wait to try some of their flavors.

Yep. I have yet to buy a juice from Copper Creek that I do not love. You really cannot go wrong. I highly recommend the House and if you like fruits you will love them all but Raspberry Danish is phenomenal and so is the Passion fruit!

rockin' that mystery house blend right now waiting for my blueberry lemonade to steep a bit

House=yum. I was just talking about how much difference in color there is between steeped and non steeped House. It is great out of the mail but even better over time. I love the lemonade too. I have it in peach and raspberry :)

sorry if it sounds like I vaped the koolaid lol

Hey Steve, Got the FBM VV today, on the shipping quick we are! (in my Yoda voice) Looks very nicely put together. I can't wait to hit juice at 4 - 5 - 6 volts! I think I have been missing out at 3.4 volts all this time. Waiting on my batteries and then I'm off to the races!

Thanks again for shipping at lightning speed!

Excellent! Keep us posted. Its about 2 hours 15 minutes or less to charge. they come about 3/4 charge, so it could be as little as an hour and a half. its always good to start low and work your way up very slowly.

I have to try this "house" I am hearing about

Got the FBM 5v in yesterday, got the batteries and cartos in today. Tried cutting my first carto for my first tank (I'm REALLY going to have to look into a saddle valve, for sure... I sucked at it SO bad). Dremels and I don't go well together. Loaded it up with my ADV...

Blown away.

Can't believe the subtle nuances I was missing out on my favorite juices on higher voltages. I thought LR cartos on 3.7ish volts "mimicking" high volt vaping was fine. Now I'm ruined... now I'm spoiled. Now I know.

My RS will still come to work with me for awhile until I can grab another FBM and have a backup and more batteries. But this FBV 5v? Well, this thing is queen at my house.

Even short hits give massive plumes. The 510 connection is rock solid; first tank attempt ended with me leaking a fair bit, and the box cleaned up without a drop making its way into the box. The inside of the box mod is clean and mechanically sound, great work on the internals. The horn button is nice and solid. Size is smaller than I imagined, which is a good thing (I always pictured 5v box mods as being big, lumbering things), fitting perfect in my hand and sitting just fine and dandy on a flat surface even with the top-heavy tank strapped on.

I couldn't ask for more. Thanks so much Steve for the craftsmanship and poor man's pricing you have on these beasts. As cliche as it's become to say anymore, I must honestly say you've got a returning customer here.

Now excuse me while I go cloud up my study and fight off the urge to vape myself into a nic-coma.

I totally agree with you and what we have been missing out on. I was using an epower and now I have the VV FBM and was blown away by how wonderful my already fabulous juices were. I can't believe what a difference it made. The mod is so solid and fits my small hands great too.

Definitely get a saddle valve..it is so worth the investment!

Boge 3.0 ohms. Wanted to grab some dual coil cartos next, but it's a ~3ml tank and was having a hard time finding standard sized DCC in stock around (and wanted to spend as little as I could since it was the first time using a tank and wasn't sure I'd like it). Might be worth investing in a larger tank to fit XLs since those seem more plentiful nowadays in 2.0 ohm DCCs.

I drive an hour and a half one way each day to work, so I was definitely wanting a tank to make that a less frightening experience than a 16 yr old texting behind the wheel of a Hummer while merging on a 4-lane interstate (I've been pulling over even for switching out cartos 'cause I scared myself crapless one day). So far the Boges are wicking very well, but...

I think the 2 ohm dual coil stainless is a good choice at 5v...

That is definitely next on the hit list!

I have 2 vv units left ( I am reserving an additional one for the person living in Elk Grove) These will only be sold as complete kits.

I got my batteries and chargers in. These chargers are multi chargers, and will charge more than just a 14500, all the way up to an 18650.

VV kits are $56 plus $5.25 priority shipping.

I also have 5v and 3.7v kits available. I also have them for sale with just the mods.

3.7 mods are $19
5v mods are $28

3.7v kits are $37
5v kits are $46

Add $5.25 for priority shipping.

PM or email me at the address in the very first post of this thread. All orders tonight will ship Monday

You won't go wrong with the 2.0 duals. I'm currently rocking a 2.0 dual XL in a tank with about 6ml capacity for four days now and loving it. The flavor is just amazing.

Anyone have any numbers on how long the Ultrafire batteries usually last with the 5v mod? Mine are just shy of 4 weeks old and already have 1 or 2 that aren't charging properly anymore. They'll charge but I can only vape on them for about 15-20 minutes. The other two lasts for hours still though.
I haven't had mine long enough to know yet. Right now I have a pair of Ultrafires, AWs, and Truefires. The Ultrafires won't drive my 2.0 duals at all, but they did drive the 2.5 duals. From what I've read on one of the big flashlight forums, Ultrafires can be hit or miss in performance depending on the batch they came from. Sometimes they will perform close to, and sometimes as well as, AWs, and sometimes they will fall short. I don't know if this relates to a batteries performance, but it's interesting that my AWs and Truefires will charge to 4.17V, but the Ultrafires only charge to 4.12V.

Hmm interesting. I was thinking about going with the AW IMR 14500s after I run these out. I've had people say good things about them and I found a website that sells them for $6.89/ea which isn't too terrible I guess.

When Godzilla tried the 2.0 dual coils, his Ultrafires ran them just fine. I think I got a pair from the "miss" category. I'm guessing these particular ones just can't handle the extra current required.

I got a pair of the AW protected 14500's after researching them on the flashlight forums, and they run pretty true batch after batch. But for ~$10.00 each, not something I feel like stocking up on in bulk. I do think they outlast Ultrafires though on number of cycles. I have no problem going with the Ultrafires for my 3 ohm cartos since they are so much cheaper, and having a couple sets of some AW's for running the dual coils. The IMR's price point is definitely more appealing.

It sure sounds like your 1.5 hour commute could use a 3.7v bottom feeder with a freshly charged 18650 battery. You would have plenty for both commutes, plus your work day.

Imagine an ego with a 1.7v single coil carto (that is what I use on my bottom feeder) with a 6ml bottle attached to it. One quick pump is like putting 6-8 drops directly onto the coil in the carto. Its working sweet. No hastle. I just fill my bottle every 18 hours or so, and charge up my batt each night when I get home. Of course I carry an extra 3.7v charged spare batt and carto, but thats it.

Honestly, I think it could be a failing battery, or a protection circuit that is cutting out early.

Once in a while, I will get a battery that cuts out. I used to check voltage each and every time, and once in a while I would get a battery reading zero. as soon as I put it back on the charger, and then tested it, it would read out on my multimeter, rather than showing zero.

It is a good habit to get into. Now, if I ever have a battery that seems like it is acting up, I put a "?" on it and I keep an eye on it for patterns.

The grey ultrafires fit best in the mods. I wish I could get a wholesale lead on the AW batteries. I think $8 a piece is a bargain for them.

If you want to try another set of batts, I would be happy to ship you another set to try out. Just PM me your shipping information. I am running the dual coils fine, but I did have a battery cutting out in a similar fashion.

Steve
