Quality of RBA vs quality of coil build.

Does the quality of the rba itself matter as much as the quality of your coil builds? Flavor and vapor production is what I'm asking about, mostly sub ohm builds.

Yes. Design is one thing... and that contributes to flavor as well as vapor production. Air flow and chamber shape are major contributors. Quality on the other hand - fit and finish - that will play a roll in continuity and heat resistance.
The lowest resistance coils in the world aren't worth a crap - if the insulation isn't of sufficient quality to tolerate the heat, and the quality of materials and fitment aren't such that they can carry the current load.
